Loads more money pouring into clubs = loads more money being demanded for average players. Can't disagree with this at all. Lineker has become an idiot and I'd rather Jenas , Shearer and Logan as a MoTD team - I barely watch it now as it does my head in.

It'd be a mental move for him. He'd definitely get less playing time and also, it would be a bit of an 'up yours' to the club who have paid all his bills and nutured him back to fitness - assuming of course that the club don't want to sell and it's that way round. If it's the other way round, I'd be disappointed in the club.

Isgrove and Reed - neither have lived up to the standard required at this level. Reed deserves a good loan out and then come back to see what he's got (like Stephens and Gallagher), but Isgrove needs to leave to salvage some career for himself.

Personally, I'm still elated about the cup final, so I didn't care so much about tonight's result, as weird as that feels. However, it did show that Isgrove and Reed are not good enough for this league, Gardos probably not worthy of being near the first team (currently) and same with Martina (contract running out in the summer?). Having said that, our fairly inexperienced and injury recovering back line were facing proven internationals so the writing was always on the wall.

I think EVERYONE will have someone on their minds. For me, I wish my Grandad, who played for Saints in 1945/46 was around to see this, as well as a recently lost friend. I think it would be good to have a universal round of applause at a set time, for whoever is on your own mind. If say on 20 minutes, everyone applauded and thought of people that were missing who they'd like to be there, I think that would be more personal and mean a lot. Just my view though.
