Tax Evasion by Dave's Dad and World Leaders
Patrick Bateman replied to buctootim's topic in The Lounge
Exactly this! -
£4?? F**King hell, that's mental. If it was a quid or even two quid and half the size, yeah, maybe. I stopped buying them as they were so f**king big, didn't realise they were now £4.

I read that interview using Koeman's voice in my head. "Qualities". Love that guy!

Matt Targett - Joins Aston Villa (Official)

When on form, he's really good - he can tackle and can put in a lovely cross. He was a bit off the pace at the weekend; I think he deserves a run in the side again - more than Tadic and JWP in my opinion. -
No way! She can't have been more than 40(?), really sorry to hear this
-
Even Troy Deeney has noticed; "I don't want to sound too critical, but a lot of fans at some grounds I go to have got cameras in their hands, taking pictures of anything rather than generating any atmosphere during the game. "At Leicester, it was all about getting behind their team." Troy Deeney was speaking to BBC Sport's Chris Bevan.

Just watching this, reinforces to me that it's madness any Saints fan happy for Leicester to win as they may win the league. B*llocks, I want Saints to smash them.
-
Because it wasn't a handball?
-
I don't care either. Pochettino is an absolutely brilliant manager, just wish we could have kept him longer, although I do love Koeman so I can't moan. Would love Leicester to win, but meh, if it's Spurs then it's still someone different to the norm and it'll upset the "big clubs". So long as Saints win tomorrow I don't care.
-
Oh well, never mind. Football will move on, we'll have more English players again perhaps.
-
Totally agree with this.
-
Said exactly the same - really enjoyed that!
-
This. I hope they win the league, but under no circumstances do I want Saints to lose. If it means Spurs win, so what, it'll be a shame it's not "little Leicester", but it's still a new team.
-
Why? Spurs hatred aside, where would he go if he won the league with them and got in the Champions League? He may turn up at Real Madrid perhaps, but only if he has success in Europe - he'll get a chance with Spurs. They'll spend bigger this year and not on dross such as AVB bought. So, Spurs and Pochettino 'hatred' aside, where is he going to go?

Don't really need Wanyama against Liverpool - a lot of their players are quite lightweight. I mean, Coutinho looks like he weighs about 9 stone, there's nothing to him, he doesn't need physical presence to stop him, he needs someone quick who can prevent him being in space.
-
Just my opinion, but Countinho was by far Liverpool's best player, although I confess I was more mesmerised by how poor Man Utd looked and I honestly can't believe they're as high in the table as they are. They were awful. Fellaini is atrocious, but by no means was he alone in that team in being so.

This. Plus he's actually a nice guy who isn't up his own backside. I do think it's a shame it's not working out for him. -

MLG being a complete mongboard helmet, AGAIN. -
He's brilliant ... although I'm speaking to a Leicester supporting mate who is stranded at home and couldn't make it, he said "I tuned in to watch Leicester not 30 minutes about Southampton" ... great work, nice one Sky
-
For all their quality players, they just don't look like a team, or look very interesting to watch - weird. Enjoying watching Watford though!
-
Safer bet to back Arsenal, given Man Utd seem to be exploding and West Ham could bomb out or equally push for a top 4 spot.
-
Today proved again that the refs need assistance from a TV screen due to the pace of the game. At first I thought "f**king hell, the tw*t has elbowed him" ... but after the first replay you could see he hasn't. refs aren't brilliant but we do need video assistance due to the pace of the game.

As you're presumably retired and therefore not having to do the work and school thing, I'll give you the benefit of doubt. You couldn't be further from the truth here. It's not just a lack of housing, there is plenty of housing; it's hard to see doctors, lengthy queues at hospitals, local school lotteries with a slim chance of getting your children into a school next door, over-crowded and dangerous roads where buses, pedestrians and cars and killing each other, it's a lack of buses, it's over-crowded trains and stations, it's tubes that are so rammed you need to wait for the 4th tube before you get on, it's a f**king tough job market where jobs are really hard to secure. Houses are the least of our problem, there are just too many people in this little country with p*ss-poor infrastructure and I'm not talking about HS bloody 2, I'm talking about buses, reliable trains and tube, integrated transport, roads that are't crumbling under the weight and that are safe for cyclists and pedestrians that aren't crushed weekly and when they build all these new estates, they should be made to build schools, surgeries and adequate road layouts for safe parking, cycling and pedestrian crossings. This current fad of building 1 space per postage stamp house makes no sense, but that's a whole other rant.

Virgil - absolutely no one else currently comes close.

I agree with the fitness - I don't think the team are as fit, but apparently Pochettino's fitness/training regimes were very hard and the players welcomed the matches as a 'break'. Will be interesting to see if Spurs maintain their momentum right until the end of the season. I think Juanmi was bought to play the extra matches we'd have had in the Europa League group stages?? That went well ...
