  1. My favourite new rule is that teams spelt like; 'Portsmouth' in division 4, will still be in division 4 at the end of the season. Great rule.
  2. His family (or friends) were in the box at the back of block 1/2 so he was playing up to them.
  3. You weren't there you stupid c*nt.
  4. 5000/1. Leicester.
  5. Champions League no less ... !
  6. Hah, well I think some of these players need to look at what ex-Saints are doing elsewhere. I wouldn't say Clyne is looking the player he was and he's probably done the 'best'.
  7. I suspect the 'new direction' is probably nothing more than not having silly targets on the academy like 50% of the first team as graduates or whatever it was. Looking at the next couple of years, it appears we're lacking home grown Chamberlain, Shaw, Walcott, Bale quality so may buy in more instead. Just a hypothesis though.
  8. That did make me laugh
  9. He's one of the better ones and is usually on the money. I would suggest Koeman's agent has taken this opportunity to play a blinder and get him the best contract he can
  10. I'm up for that. Won't happen, but would be good.
  11. Koeman next please, Les.
  12. Great news to see Forster and JWP sign up for longer terms too. Keep 'em coming!
  13. He plays on the left He plays on the left Oh Ryan Bertrand He plays on the left
  14. The only 'chatter' is in your head with your imaginary best mate.
  15. I hope we're sponsored by 'Boing Cemento' ... sounds awesome, whatever the smeg it is.
  16. That's one way to look at it!
  17. I cheered that goal rather too loudly!
  18. He'll be fine - but he does need a run in a first team on loan, I agree. I would be happy to sign Stek permanently as a back-up; however I'm not sure he wants to be back-up, hence why we got him in the first place?? But, I have zero knowledge of who else would be happy to be back-up to Forster, who is an excellent goalie.
  19. I haven't had a season ticket since 2009 as I can't make every single home game. However if we were selling season tickets for £300, then yes, I'd buy one. Trouble is that we haven't been given a 60,000 seater stadium for basically free.
  20. It was very much a typical Pochettino match if there is such a thing - certainly in the time we had him at Saints. Spurs have been brilliant this season mostly, but that was poor yesterday. All that sideways passing and possession and they surrendered a lead. Summed up many of his "no plan b" matches with us. He's still a quality manager though, so I'm putting it down to a deflated squad with a couple of regulars missing.
  21. To play devil's advocate. If Forster and Bertrand were fit at the start of the season, would we have progressed in the EL? If we'd progressed in the EL, how would that have f**ked up our league form? There are too many variables - just enjoy our best finish for many years.
  22. Or rather than watch on some rubbish stream, you could pay just £6.99 for 24 hours of Sky Sports on Now TV and watch it in decent quality.
  23. That is brilliant, well done the club! Ron next please.
