  1. Did the interviewer slap him round the face and ask why the **** the stupid skate **** signs players on 20K a week then moan about the size of his squad? If it wasn't tax payers money paying for that shambles down the road I would find it more amusing. At the moment I just find it frusstrating the club still exists. It will be interesting to see how they accomadate Ben Haim's MASSIVE wages though.
  2. To make so many changes and comfortably beat a Premier League team is amazing. You have to hand it to Adkins, he has taken us to another level.
  3. Didn't Marcus buy the whole club for £15mill? If they get £10mill back for one 17 year old they will be laughing all the way to the Swiss bank. Personally I wouldn't want him sold but even if we do it would probably be re-invested anyway so I wouldn't cry over it.
  4. Brilliant news! best signing we could have hoped for. Well done to NC and NA.
  5. All good managers prioritise certain competitions and we shouldn't be any different. It doesn't mean we want to lose, just that the team should be as best prepared as possible for Tuesday's game. If that means resting 4, 5 or 11 players then so be it.
  6. I'm glad Quangos have been raped, some may have been cost effective but I think in the whole money will be saved. Plus the fact that they have been cut and will continue to be, will stop them taking the P.
  7. I think if they were using ET technology they might just have invented something superior to the Spitfire and whooped our ass.
  8. A premier League second team shouldn't have much of a problem with a League 1 side. It has all the makings to be a cracking game though, both teams play good football, there is no pressure on either side and neither want a replay.
  9. He's still young, a player i would definitely keep. I find it amazing how so many people write off young players because they are not yet the finished article.
  10. I didn't even know he had signed for Newcastle, and have to admit that when I saw the scorer I assumed it was someone else with the same name. I can't believe that useless overhead own goal kicking penalty missing **** is in the Premier league.
  11. Buying CD's and DVD's will just go the same way as vinyl, and HMV will disappear with them. Downloading is cheaper and easier, I expect eventually books will go the same way.
  12. For a moment there I actually thought Dune had turned human and cared about the people of Ivory Coast, oh no it's the mineral resources and Western interests. At least in this strange world of freakish weather, birds falling out the sky and Leon Best hat-tricks we can rely on Dune to be a c*nt.
  13. It's true that players generally get their own way but if Cortese decides he doesn't want to sell then he doesn't have to. It's not the typical situation. There havn't been many League 1 clubs owned by billionaires before, there will be a limit to what anyone will pay for a League 1 player, if that limit falls below Saints' valuation then he wont go anywhere IMO.
  14. I thought yesterday was his last game on loan, we now either buy him, extend the loan, or he goes back. It may be that Adkins thinks Austin will be better value than Guly.
  15. Because Lambert isn't the goal machine he was last season, Guly's loan has expired, Connolly is injury prone and Barnard might go to jail.
  16. That's crazy, if they had won yesterday they would be level on points with us -where exactly do Charlton think they should be?
  17. Jesus no need to get on your high horse I've already said what he did was dishonest - I just don't think he's any worse than the banks who gamble on the stock exchange knowing full well if they lose the tax-payer will bail them out. Everyone in today's world is a capitalist and has to be to survive - that's my point all he's doing is what's best for him and his family - screw anyone else. Just like the bankers who are raking in billions, Mp's feathering their nests with tax payers money and company directors claiming VAT back on their wife's petrol.
  18. Burglary is illegal what my mate did is not. Like I said the responsibility lies with the lender, the banks are free to choose who they lend to and how much. Just like my mate can choose to live in whatever country he wants. Taking/making little difference in today's world. I would class what the banks do as taking money.
  19. This league is wide open, Brighton are 6 points ahead but at the same stage last season their points tally would only have put them in 4th place. After 22 games Leeds were top with 53 points. It's a poor league this year, Saints COULD win it by a distance. We've only really started playing well in the last few games yet we've slipped nicely into the top 2.
  20. This winning mentality stuff is all ******, firstly if we play our reserves then the first team wont have lost their winning mentality because they would not have played. Secondly we are playing a Premier league side so will more than likely lose anyway. The important game is Oldham on Tuesday, I would put a team out Sat with that in mind.
  21. I would rest a few players, don't want to risk injuries or suspensions.
  22. A few injuries and we would be light in the winger and striker department.
  23. Great stuff, that was the sort of game we wold lose under Pardew.
  24. I thought it was strange because he would be a good option to have on the bench, we don't have alot of options if Chambo and Lallana get injured. It has turned out a good move for both Saints and Puncheon but if we had needed backup on the wings we could have been left short. IF he is a disruptive influence then getting rid is 100% the best thing.
  25. Hasn't done anything illegal, and he's no more or less scummy than the banks.
