  1. There is nothing like an Alpine downer after a game. We should have won but second is still there to be claimed.
  2. Saturday, 2 April 2011 Reading v Portsmouth Saturday, 9 April 2011 Portsmouth v Preston Tuesday, 12 April 2011 Portsmouth v Coventry Saturday, 16 April 2011 Cardiff v Portsmouth Saturday, 23 April 2011 Portsmouth v Swansea Monday, 25 April 2011 Burnley v Portsmouth Saturday, 30 April 2011 Portsmouth v Norwich Saturday, 7 May 2011 S****horpe v Portsmouth Only a couple of easy games there, not enough for seven teams above them to mess up for them to get sixth... surely?
  3. Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero.
  4. When it comes to accidents, it's better to be behind a big heavy lorry than in front of it.
  5. I can see the MK Dons being the tricky game. I'm hoping for a new record of league wins in a row as it would mean the bus is rocketing to second place and primed for top if Brighton slip up. This is the time to show Saints being worth of an automatic promotion spot.
  6. Megson is the manager iirc.
  7. Umm... so when it comes to a violent uprising and the dictator uses military force, we act. When it comes to an election fix to keep a dictator in and torture, starvation and terror to keep the populus down we ignore.
  8. Buying books are more expensive, around 10-15% more.
  9. Well, the wendies (ok 2 out of 4) are going for a win (the other two going for a draw). Also looks like they are having keeper problems with Weaver out with a groin strain, so a new centre back pairing and a new keeper for them on Saturday.
  10. The weather isn't great so hope it doesn't get called off late.
  11. Too slow...http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28848-Tuesday-Night-Football
  12. Yes, but that's a home game (for us).
  13. which to believe, this thread or this one?
  14. haha, ta. It was the Les Reed connection that threw me and I'm exhausted from being up dealing with a sick daughter... I'd better check my other posts now!
  15. Some important matches being played by our promotion rivals. Brentford v Huddersfield Carlisle v Plymouth Hartlepool v Leyton Orient Rochdale v Notts County Sheff Wed v Peterborough All kick-offs at 7:45pm It would be helpful to see some home wins or draws tomorrow.
  16. Charlton need to shake a few things up and I'd expect a clear out this summer. They're done that already on the managerial front with Parkinson replaced by Powell and now that Charlton are more or less out of the promotion race that could be a good call for both teams.
  17. Besides living on the edge of the Asian Plate, there have been some corruption scandals in their nuclear industry which have both played their part in the current situation.
  18. 9th April is the important date: Huddersfield v Peterborough, Leyton Orient v Southampton,
  19. A few when loading first time, very very slow when refreshing or adding comments.
  20. yes, but good goal from lambert!
  21. Parents got a Dragon 32. I remember loading games from the tape recorder and taking ages to load as it never did it first time!
  22. Wasn't there a blog about someone taking on one of these spammers. Something to do with an artifact?
  23. I agree, however,it will be interesting to see how many of the 'home' support are actually Saints fans since they have been on sale to the home fans for so long. I also believe the Saints allocation was sold out first which shows you that even though not a derby in the sense of Saints vs Skates, the locality and promotion push would draw more fans to it and you would have thought it would be better to up the Saints allocation than risk the mixing of fans.
