With all this talk of LL signing for them, does anyone know what players are in their last year of their contract? I remember Utaka being one of many, it seems next season could be a challenge on the recruitment front unless they do make the promised land.

Up to third with Charlton drawing 2 a piece against Colchester.

Saints have played more home games than anyone else so conversely less away games, and it's the away form which is the worrying aspect which needs fixing quickly- played 8, won three and lost 4 with one draw.

It was when I looked at the schedule yesterday, but I've checked again now and it's been replaced by Hard Rain... grrrr!

I think it was one step at a time. We are now 5th in touching distance of the top spot with half the season left. When he arrived, we were 22nd so maybe not the best time to make such a bold statement.

They are both on tomorrow.

That's only potential and may not be anywhere near that. Still not as good a fee as we got for Richards from them.

The best thing I've fond is buy some leave in hair conditioner spray (Aussie make this) and add ~20ml neat tea tree oil to the bottle. I used this every day after my kids got an infestation a few years ago and although there has been outbreaks at the school my kids have never had them.

I've got a glowworm ultimate 80ff. The trouble with this is that there are only two things to do - the on/off switch and the thermostat dial. I've called every engineer in cambridge yesterday and this morning and managed to get one for this afternoon. Thanks for all your advice.

Thanks Deppo, J9 doesn't receive PMs. Dune - helpful as ever.

Hi guys, not the best time to loss heating in the house but my boiler has given up. I've followed the instructions to turn it on but the pilot light will not start. It's an automatic boiler so it's a simple turn on, turn the thermostat between min and max and the fan starts (which it does) followed by an ignition spark (which doesn't). The house thermostat is on 20 and heating set to on. No pressure gauge is visible. It's not a condenser boiler so no outside pipe frozen. Am I missing something or is there anything I could try before calling an emergency plumber? British Gas can not come out until the 6th January!

Well they are playing like the first team, too many missed chances.

This is bizarre that we are top of the shooting table yet have only scored 26 goals. Only Colchester above us have scored less (25) but are way down the shooting table and Oldham have scored 27 from one less game and are still getting a better return. Is it down to accuracy, mental application to stick the ball in the back of the net, too many shots from distance or what? And how to resolve it? It seems to be effecting one player more than most: http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/Shooting/0,,10794~201010280~25,00.html

BBC state Pardew get Newcastle job within 24 hrs.
Doctoroncall replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
What is a major competition and perhaps you can clarify what big club means. I don't really get your point as what expectation is there for the evertons, villas and boltons? -

Not totally related but funny, something from Digger in the guardian: An early day motion cropped up in Westminster on Monday. "That this House believes that it would be a good idea if all those involved in the failed World Cup bid showed a little humility and good grace instead of continually whingeing and moaning about the unfairness of Fifa and the bidding process and, while regretting that England was able only to accumulate two votes out of 22, congratulates Russia and Qatar on their success," Labour's Roger Godsiff proposed. Digger will not argue with the analysis that people should not try to rehabilitate their own reputations at the expense of English international relations in football. But as of yesterday Godsiff had mustered little support. Indeed the sole signatory was the Liberal Democrat MP for Portsmouth South, Mike Hancock. Hold on, that name rings a bell, doesn't it? Sure does: his researcher, Katia Zatuliveter, was last week arrested after MI5 alleged she has links to Russia's foreign intelligence service, the SVR. Shouldn't this be time to keep your head down, Mike?
