ummh but they don't like watching the footy... In their poll: Is it good to watch Pompey? 50% say Not at all! With the PP, I thought there was one soon (Feb/March) and then at the end of the season (July)?

Successful Tackles per Game, We top the League
Doctoroncall replied to Saint Without a Halo's topic in The Saints
An interesting stat I was told the other day was that no team with a better than 51% possession has been relegated from the premier league. Looks like Wigan could be the first. -
TBH I'm more worried about the midfield where they need too many chances to score a goal, either through poor shot selection, timing or accuracy. Increase that and the team wouldn't be so dependent on Ricky for goals. Otherwise, Ricky contributes with his great ball control, touch, runs off the ball and his set up play which should not fade over time.

AGood start to the season. They come to SMS on the 13th April, I bet they'll be be decent form by then. It would be great to be above them by then.

MP has provide the icing to the cake baked by Adkins and I like the taste!

Sorry disagree about Parker, he isn't excellent, he's good at running about and making last ditch tackles and blocks but he doesn't keep up with the game. Both Cork and Schneirderlin read the game and have great positional sense to protect the back line.

Awesome performance!

Need to cover Zabaleta... he's providing the only real outlet for Man City to counter, come on J Rod!!!
-
what a **** corner!
-
So QPR have to gain 0.5 points per game more than the bottom four to stay up.
-
Come on Stoke!

Mancini's view of the game tomorrow.

Guy Whittingham would be bottom with three points from fourteen games (0.214 pts/game)

Just catching up on events having been traveling with work this week, but this caught the eye. How do you value the land when it might not have a football club? Surely it would be worth more?

Cork - Schneiderlin partnership, changed under Pocchetino?

Agree with that, some of the decision making when we have the ball in the final third has been poor - either keeping the ball for a second too long or the team are static and there are no runners to either make space for a pass or receive it. Hopefully over time with more confidence and insight from MP they'll start using the ball better. One thing that Ramirez does bring to our game is some of that ability, for instance where Lambert went wide and Ramirez run into the space for that great chance. -
We have been royally spoilt with all the stories that came out of fatpipes in the early days, combined with Ho's fantasies and Mack's sensible if not entirely understandable utterings. I can understand being jaded by yet another court postponement or another loss on the pitch. Things will pick up soon.

The high defensive line gets deeper and deeper towards the end of the game and perhaps a bit of panic sets in rather than ball retention and knowing there are a couple of outlets to relieve the pressure would be good too.

What ever you do don't go into the actuary business with CB Fry.

Well, the loser of the last game of the season between Wigan and Villa will go down with QPR and Reading. Coming up are Cardiff, Hull and Leicester.
-
They haven't so far this season. its a hard game to judge, one which they need to win and be nervous and open to attacks or be relaxed about it and play their natural game. Aguero is a great player, hopefully the Toure brothers will be knackered!

Not quite, they had to not carry 'so much' of the existing debt. A manoeuvre to stop BC from load the new company with what he is owed. I think there was an estimate figure of £5m but cannot be sure, excluding other debts (admin and football).

Probably a draw, we are good at those.

fed up with playing well and losing, time to win ugly!

first row but cannot get rid of the ad!
