  1. He's an upgrade on Juanmi, but he's certainly no Hassan Kachloul!
  2. Their local media appears to be as deluded as their fans - echo chamber!
  3. Spot on, but unfortunately it won't happen Chez.
  4. Totally against the run of play, spawny f*ckers!
  5. Pathetic, isn't it!
  6. I've always thought MS a similar as a player to Stevie Williams, who would make my starting eleven in front of him on tenacity. Upright, good vision, makes it look so easy.
  7. His best years being the partnership with Ken Monkou in the early 90s.
  8. Just can't see Reed sanctioning it, even at £10M, but it would make a great deal of sense.
  9. I just did! Scandal letting him go ;-)
  10. It was all bloody terrace on that side too!
  11. Indeed, everybody seemed to turn out that day, almost a perfect storm. The baiting of Biley, and the cavalry charge in the park were the highlights, their players and fans didn't know what to do with themselves. Still didn't feel like a rivalry, more of a reinforcement ;-)
  12. We also gave them the fright of their lives before, during and after the FA Cup quarter final at the Goldstone in 1986. Cracking day out for Saints.
  13. Assume he's on about £150 a week!
  14. With Pelle and Mane in this side, we'd be up around the top four.
  15. Ditto.
  16. Agree, £50m would do it next month.

Mystic Meg! If only Glasgow was with us now to predict the future!
  18. Would be a rather strange addition, but it's that kind of season. Puel can turn him into the next Eden Hazard, failing that Alan McLoughlin.
  19. If he ever comes good (which we all hope he will) and gets back to his England form, you'd hope he'd repay the club's faith. There's still a good player in there, 70% confidence with strikers.
  20. Like watching paint dry. F*cking boring paint at that!
  21. Crackers isn't it! Even at Southend he would be earning a very decent wage. Head case...
  22. In which case a major gamble, on top of the gamble made in late summer. This could be the acid test for Reed's stewardship, but apparently against the grain of set policy (rare transfer forays in January). I reckon we will leave it late and get nowt, or Sturridge on loan with all kinds of fanfares. What we actually need to help Puel's system, as other posters have stated, is a big target man who can hold up and a mobile striker.
  23. After the deal Koeman wrangled out of the dugout pioneers, who can blame him!
  24. #Boro
  25. Everton peasants revolting en masse on Twitter. If we beat Watford by three goals tomorrow we go above them for the first time this season. We won't of course...
