Evening all. Just thought I'd give an update on this for anyone who's interested. First meeting is now before the Burnley match, in one of the boxes & we're invited to stay on to watch the game from there afterwards. Aim of this one is to meet each other, set expectations, meet some key members of staff and maybe set agenda items before the first 'real' meeting. All sounds interesting (to me anyway!) and the chance to watch from a box will be very much a new experience for me (and, I feel, is a nice touch).

My son still asks me "do you remember where we were when we signed Charlie Austin?" In our house it's a JFK moment. [He was the mascot for the 3-0 win over West Brom on the day. Ironically, Charlie was the one first teamer he didn't meet...]

I've received an email to say my order has been processed. Because of the extra discount, I also ordered some extra (standard Nike) items my son needed for football training. I'm not convinced I was one of the quickest off the mark so I wonder if they're prioritising those orders who bought extra bits (in which case I might've got lucky)?
