Ivan Katalinic's 'tache

No idea. 'Twas tongue in cheek...

Good to see Bournemouth trying to follow Pompey's successful Premier League business model.

Not sure but I think I read Sunderland were interested in taking him on in January. Could release him and bring in Chambers, I guess. Would be good if he comes in at right back & only covers at centre half.

Looks a talent. Hope we take a punt on him as we could really do with a pacy, strong, athletic centre forward. Looks like he can finish too.

I wonder what he asked them: "Will he be happy to sit on the bench while Victor flounces around midfield ineffectively?"

Can't see why he'd want to join a side lower down the table. Always wanted to say that about Chelsea...

Cr*p. Can't go now, thanks Sky.

The links with Solly March will die down now as he's been ruled out for the season with a knee injury. More of a winger than a striker so maybe not one Ronald was thinking of as a striker.

Unlike some others who come to SMS to contain and hit us in the break, Spurs will attack & may actually give us a chance to get a win. Either that or they'll batter us.

With his brother Graham as his assistant?

Doubt he'll be here next season. You know it's gone badly if you're Yoshida's cover at right back.

Sometimes, at home, I wish we'd stick Tadic wide left, Mane wide right, two defensive centre mids & Pellè with Long (or Juanmi) up front & just have a f**king go. It's working for Leicester at the moment but I guess it doesn't fit in with the current 4-3-3 (or however it's dressed up) philosophy of the club. Me, as a pragmatist, I'd just do whatever best gets us a result.

His head has probably been turned at England get togethers by Targett & JWP. Bloody internationals.

I'm sure it's been mentioned earlier on but we need to respect our heritage & give Dennis Rofe the job. He could also collect in the bib & cones to allow Sammy Lee to concentrate on shouting.

Might get a bit more of an opportunity with Jay Rod potentially needing an operation. He is lightweight but he needs to knuckle down and make the most of any chances he does get.

Well VvD thinks Jordy can be as good as Morgan... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-star-jordy-clasie-can-6844150

VvD thinking he will be ok for Stoke... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-star-jordy-clasie-can-6844150

God we were tinpot under Lowe, training in a portakabin...

From the Beeb: Not good news?

Scored a goal too so hopefully he'll be fine for next Saturday.

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20151027-gaston-ramirez-pre-southampton-aston-villa-cup-2768644.aspx The right attitude but has to be matched by the right application now. If Gaston's aim is genuinely to stay, fight & win a place in the team then good luck to him, i say. Can only be beneficial for us.

Won't be long before Arsenal will be making a complaint against Saints, under the Trade Descriptions Act, as they thought they were buying a top flight defender when they bought Chambers...

Really starting to like this guy. Good going forward, decent in defence - one excellent block yesterday in particular - and willing to put himself on the line, especially with that head wound at the moment. Think we may have traded up on Clyne.

These would be my personal favourites on this subject...
