Armstrong needs to be closer to the goal, his touch and turns are very good but he's always 25 yards out.

Villa winning, turning into a bad day.
-
Lyanco just hanging out there
-
Shooting is too slow as well, need to get the shots of quicker.
-
McCarthy error.
-
Brilliant from Adams!
-
Indeed. It sounds like an oxymoron.

Excuse my ignorance, but how can you "attempt" manslaughter? Surely the whole premise of manslaughter is its without intent?
-
I assume that by appealing he risks having his sentenced increased? Tbh, it sounds like he is the primary person culpable for the death of two people, should probably take the 18 months and run (well not literally as he can't).

Sounds like she's struggling with guilt for the way Meghan and Harry were treated.

As we all know forum polls are legally binding, so it appears they're actually pretty happy with Smith up there

Last manager to win us a trophy, Southampton legend.
-
Blimey, that's pretty bad. Absolutely shocking from Everton.
-
Sky Sports now reporting that it's between Smith and Lampard but "neither is sure they want it". The fact they clearly didn't have anyone lined up makes the decision to get rid of Farke after a win all the more bizarre.

His best seasons were playing as a number 10 or in a midfield 3 where he had a couple of other players anchoring. Brilliant footballer though.
-
Who would replace Small in the #10 role at that point?
-
Fair play to him as I actually think it's quite a difficult job (expectations vs ease of achieving expectations). Could easily have stayed at Rangers, won a few more trophies and then replaced Klopp when he moves on.
-
The final half season he was here Mane was absolutely incredible, one of the best players in the league. He was inconsistent until that point. His performances against Chelsea (A), Villa (A) and Man City (H) were outstanding.

5 clean sheets in our first 11 games is exceptional! Especially considering how awful our defence was last season.
-
Bit of a Kane taking corners feel to it.
-
Of our three strikers, I would have though AA would be the most likely as one of the two "wide 10s" (I feel this needs a new name), as he's good running with the ball. Che is more a tradition number 10 in the drop deep, good at holding on to the ball and playing to runners. Completely agree Broja is an out and out number 9.

I expect some very expensive loans in to Newcastle in January, like Lingard or Van de Beek. Unless they're really buggered come January they will be able to bring in players to get themselves out of it.
-
Both Salisu and Lyanco look "reasonably quick", but compared to Vestergaard and Bednarek look rapid.

I read an article, albeit by a Scottish journalist, that quoted TL as saying that his Mum, the Scottish half, was really pushing him to play for Scotland. Obviously he's good enough to have a shot at England eventually but if things don't go to plan and with the glut of right backs we have you never know. Portugal obviously a strong nation but Scotland being domestic and having a sort of golden generation could be tempting.

Agree, though isn't this partly a symptom of Ralph-ball? All of our #10s are forwards/wingers; we haven't had anyone you would consider a playmaking number 10 and Ralphs been in charge for 3 years. But I agree that's a problem, especially as the 2 CMs are generally pretty deep and the full backs designed to stay wide. TBH I think Vestergaard was the closest thing to a creative playmaker we've had under Ralph.
