Personally, couldn't care less about defeat today. I do feel sorry for those admirable fans who made the journey again to see another lacklustre performance. I am more worried about the league and building for next season. When we have a bigger squad then have a go at the cups.

Well done Glasgow for winning in the "look at me" competition.

Ricky to score first and Saints 3-1 win...... 70-1

I still feel quite confident despite the several changes. Unlike all of us on here, the players will have known this selection and been training appropriately during the week. They would have been working on tactics with this selection and formation. I have doubts about Jos but hopefully he can have one of his good games.

A bit disappointing but overall we controlled everything pretty well. Rickie has missed a couple of sitters and has subsequently been trying for the wonderpass to make up for it, but has been giving it away. I like the way we keep possession but it could do with being a little more rapid at times. When we counter attack lets fully commit to it, after all we are leaving pretty much 2 V 2 at the back anyway. I want to see them charging up the field in numbers!!!

Holy crap Batman, its working great! Thanks

anybody got a decent stream for tonight. Mine seems fine when the ball is out but shocking when in play!!!!

Need to get down the wings a bit more, behind them. Stoke are parking a bus on the 18 yard line.

Crouchie really is a bell. Constantly whinging. Reckon 4-2 saints as they will tire.

Why do you feel the need to start so many threads? Is it attention seeking? Does it give you a feeling of importance? Generally people just think you are a fool.

STUNNING!

WHAT A GOAL! PURE QUALITY

I think even if we don't buy anybody it will have been a good transfer window. Get shot of the deadwood including the liability that is Osvaldo. I would imagine the squad harmony would be better now after the headbutting incident. Sure we will get injuries and our squad isn't that deep but we have kept the core 17-18, something many of us were worried about a few weeks ago. Still got MP, still got Shaw, Lovren, Clyne, Lallana, SRL. Bad egg Osvaldo out. That'll do for me (unless Lewandowski fancies a spell on the south coast!).

Can't beat a sensational red top rag! Anyone would think they were trying to sell papers! If the sun, mirror and star form your morning reading material I pity you and your sad lack of knowledge about everything in the world. Does explain a lot though!

Evidence, rumour or as normal from you two, plain BS!

The Big O - it's over. Or. D:Ream - things can only get better

Sky sports are live at St Marys and haven't mentioned any bugger turning up. Personally I am hoping that Nicola can rustle up some of his mafia buds and buy the club from the Liebherrs. They get their cash, he gets the club, we keep our don!

Matey from SISA is a total tool. Sounds like Benny Hill and talks as much sense too!

Match Thread - Saints v Burnley - FA Cup 3rd Round

You really are quite a strange specimen. We lose...... you moan, we draw....... you moan, we win.........you moan! To quote Chas and Dave, "Ain't no pleasing you!" -
Career win %'s mean nothing in relation to the present. I would imagine Ole Gunnar would have possibly the best career win % of the Premier League managers which according to Glasgow makes him the best in the league. He takes no note of which leagues have been managed in, or the clubs managed and whether expectations were met or not. For me, MP is meeting and exceeding my expectations. We were playing well till injuries struck to KEY players. Yes we need more depth in the squad but if I had been offered ninth at new year at the start of the season I would have reluctantly accepted it. Pretty much every game we have competed and had opportunities and on occassions we have not have the rub of the green with deflections, dodgy ref calls. I am not a happy clapper, just not an idiot antagonising others on the forum by endlessly speculating on MP getting the boot. Get a grip, I certainly dont want to go back to the days of Ruperts endless hiring and firing!

Yet again the normal village idiots are out namely Glasgow and Bazza. We have lost a lot of games recently, on occassions only playing one of the first choice back five and missing Big Vic but that is no excuse for you. Not many teams outside of the top four could cope with the injury crisis we have had to endure. Today we have simply got done by a very good side who will quite possibly be champions at the end of the season.

Jos is simply dreadful and a total liability. Should not be anywhere near the first team again. A good transfer window would simply be getting shot of him!
