  1. Good lad http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/saints-fan-cargill-s-pompey-snub-1-7188787 Come on the Cherries
  2. And Stoke and West Brom. In the 70s/80s most club's fans belted it out, the scallies always done it well, just like most fans gave a rendition of YNWA with scarves aloft at the end of a winning match. Saints, like othes, also did a variation on "Blowing Bubbles". English 'support' is usually boring crap and just copied by each other. Tinpot
  3. "...he hates Porn Kings" maybe more appropriate. I get an angsty urge to jab in the ribs any **** that starts singing about those other ****s down the road.
  4. Targett will continue to improve no doubt but I wouldn't like to rely on him as our first choice left back right now. His good performances recently have been more as a left winger.
  5. The Ugly Inside was a very good fanzine, particularly early days. But once they started getting too well put together looking more like a magazine they kind of lost their edge. Truth is they've had their day and with t'internet, everything has been said or done before the next issue would hit the streets. Best bet would be to get a John Bull Printing Set and try and recapture the original vibe of the 'fanzine' but it certainly wouldn't make you rich! Must dig out those old U.I.s......
  6. Someone had a ticket up for grabs in the match build up (main board) http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?55851-Man-U-build-up-thread/page3#.VqAC1OinxJ8 No 2 to Maybush #107
  7. From a travelling fans point of view, I always like to see northern teams relegated (skates excepted) particularly the North East due to distance. Trouble is, even if the Geordies and Mackems dropped (which they won't) it looks like Boro and Hull will likely come up. Could be 4 trips to the NE next season!
  8. ...except when they added "we hate pom........." on the end. How many chants about those ***** were the school kids singing yesterday. Our support is dire these days. We should go a bit old school and revive the 'Mickey Evans' chant for him.
  9. If accurate the OS showing just 27 seats, all singles, remaining for home fans. Man U away next week sold out and (on UI) earlier today only 50 tickets left of the 3,000 Arsenal tickets. Fans keeping the faith. Tough one tomorrow, early goal for us would help against a Pulis side. Think we'll edge it.
  10. No, you're different. Kinda special.
  11. Should be OK for a walk-up if you don't mind sitting in the corners of the Chapel http://tickets.saintsfc.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/VisualSeatSelection.aspx?stadium=SM&product=FH15CP&campaign=&type=H&productsubtype=&productIsHomeAsAway=N Most other stands all but sold out, should be looking at 28-29,000 I'd guess.
  12. Just had a look and there's certainly plenty left. We'll probably shift a few more by the weekend but it's looking far from a sell-out. Ongoing poor form (Arsenal apart) is taking it's toll and with 3 home games in a week, many are clearly finding it easy to give this a miss. And with 4,500 palace having a big day out, they'll be noisy and it could be an uncomfortable experience for some.
  13. Just proves they're a far smaller club than Ipswich. The 'Tractor Boys' easily sold 5k for their trip to Southampton in the cup this time last year...and still wanted more. #pluckylittlep*mpey
  14. Someone looking for a ticket on the 'away' forum... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?55721-Looking-for-a-westham-ticket-can-meet-outside-the-ground#.VoEgyuinxJ8
  15. I think the apathy of the St Mary's crowd has well and truly got through to the players now. If ever they needed a lift...
  16. Well, I think I recall that match, but if we're thinking the same, I remember it being a windy midweek game against Orient with most of the ground baying for cockney blood. Feisty atmospheres, a thing of the past.
  17. Actually it sounds like the UK prison system is working fine, he obviously favoured Sharia Law previously but now is all for the laws of our land. He's a reformed character already...and think about all the ££££ssss he's now saving the country in toothpaste.
  18. This skate wants us... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-paul-cook-says-bring-on-southampton-1-7102836
  19. I'd rather keep the manager, keep the board and sack our numpty fans.
  20. Can't see it mentioned anywhere on here but it's appeared on various social media that fans are planning on standing up and giving a minute's applause in memory of Mike 'Jimmy' O'Callaghan at tonight's game, who was buried today. Whether you agree this is a good idea or not it's best that people are aware of what's going on around them. It's nothing to do with the club, just a fans thing.
  21. Has it not just been uploaded onto the Season Ticket card?
  22. Only seats available are in the family stand but I think they've lifted restrictions now so you can buy adult tickets together. Just as well, otherwise they'd have probably struggled to sell them with it being a school night, possible extra time/pens and live on Sky.
  23. I'm with ya most of the way but ffs singing that has gotta be more embarrassing than sitting in silence Fingers crossed we get to a cup final soon but what kind of atmosphere would there be in amongst our lot? There were 55,000 Saints fans at the JPT but very little singing tbh.
  24. Any excuse to watch again...and again... We nicked him from under the noses of Swindon, his local Wiltshire club, good bit of business. Top memories. Dodgy accent, great player.
  25. Anyone ever watched a match streamed on here before? http://www.saints-player.co.nr/ Saw this posted on the UI, never seen it mentioned on here.
