Probably the only £15m-ish performance I can recall was against Aston Villa in his first season, the future looked bright that day. What a wasted opportunity, still, time for one more 'Gaston Thriller'.
-
This was a total sell-out by Tuesday but once the club put the new Ticket Exchange into operation a few seats became available. I looked earlier this morning for someone and there were exactly twelve seats up for grabs but all single seats in the Family Centre. Nothing else available.

"Evertonians" This'll go well...
-
Too many skate references other than that, good article. Or maybe...Saints'. ...?
-
Villa have taken 3,100 for this but can't see them selling them all. We took around 2,500 up to Stoke for the same round last year and reckon a similar number of Brummies will travel down to St Mary's. Great pricing should mean any returns are snapped up by home fans and a sell-out.
-
Along with "shall we sing a song for you" from a section of the Northam at the Taffs while we were attacking the Chapel in near silence, 3-0 up...
-
That's strange, why are they celebrating in front of the Wigan fans? The away bit is obviously the other end

Not too shabby A few tips here... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?55149-Mk-dons-pubs#.VgKW4uhwZJ8

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150922-mk-dons-southampton-capital-one-cup-tickets-2704452.aspx Pay on the night tomorrow - guess we never cleared the initial 2,500 allocation?
-
Well, they're entitled to 3,200ish which, I thought, included Block 43 but that's on sale to Saints fans. I know we've restricted them in the past as they've played up but don't think that's the case recently?
-
Bit surprised this hasn't sold out yet but no doubt will in next few days. And why haven't we given Utd the full allocation?
-
Coming back up through the divisions we had more songs that are no longer appropriate, it's been whittled down to 2 or 3 tedious chants now, none more so than the droning much overdone slow OWTS. No blood and guts to lift the team, we've "only got one song".
-
It is a catchy slogan but also a reasonable price if considering travel costs, etc. and then next week forking out around twice that for a home ticket.
-
I'd think what grips many of us is that Twenty's-Plenty would barely be noticed by Premier League clubs if implemented. The money given up to make it happen would be a drop in the ocean compared to the incoming TV funds, no club would really be any worse off than the other with all doing the same and it would suggest these money-rich clubs do actually have an inkling of care for the fans. Anyway, back in the real world, carry on...

SAINTS 2-1 Oxford Utd: Behind Closed Doors Friendly.
alehouseboys replied to Saint Scott's topic in The Saints
Those 2 Oxford lads look massive. -
Away tickets now sold out. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150814-tickets-west-bromwich-albion-southampton-2620575.aspx C'mon Saints, let's keep this winning run going

So, as we were saying, the skates named their local landmark after a 'Southampton invention'. And to think they made such a fuss over a lick of red paint...
-
I agree, particularly as it represents a Southampton invention. Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
alehouseboys replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Thank fook Victor's over his tummy upset. I was worried for him for a bit there... -
Also, for the new boys, I quite liked... "He's from the M-e-d, From the M-e-d, Juanmi, Juanmi Juan-mi-mi-mi" (Cranberries/that bloke off YouTube!) and... Chim-Chim-i-ney, Chim-Chim-i-ney, Chim-Chim-Cheree, Van Dijk's the class of Southampton FC (Di-ck Van Dyke c1964)

Trouble with that Whitey is, not only would it have been out-of-town it would have been in another town! Stoneham would have been a traffic nightmare and, politically, never have happened. Give me St Mary's every time.
-
It's crazy really that you have to spell out the obvious to some, and while many will rise to he ocassion, unfortunately they'll still be a few straining at the leash to boo and the southern half of the stadium will just give their usual subdued support. After getting a similar reaction at Sheff Utd we went on to stuff Everton a few days later with no Schneiderlin and Wanyama...and Reed impressing in the middle. Wake up St Mary's and help turn this around.

Stekelenburg's Blue has brought curse on our season
alehouseboys replied to ART's topic in The Saints
....and we played in a Wembley final in that! Eeeeeeew! But, tbh, we had blue in our kit long before the skates. The 'Shrimps' traditional colours were Salmon pink. -
Most 'decent' players will be looking for European football. Oh.
-
...and spoilt...and unrealistic...and.... Talk of booing (I realise some is tongue-in-cheek) or any negative reception is ridiculous, particularly 3 league games in. The players should boo the fans as the vocal support has been poor (and tedious, we've only got one songzzzzzzzzzz). Save your energy from booing and do what football fans have traditionally done, back your side with passion...more so when things are going against you.
