I used to visit China about 4 times a year for more than 30 years and never had a problem ! The multiple entry visa is the best way (and yes, you always need a letter of invitation) but on the few occasions that we were caught short we got them in 24 hours from an office in Hong Kong !

There are clearly different ways of looking at comparisons. You could say that one is unproven at the top level and just recovering from an ACL injury whereas the other is a current international with champions league experience to boot !

It's so easy to slag off the club for something which is based on pure speculation (this thread) ! Nobody knows the full story or even if we were actually in for him in the first place.. but, hey ho, let's have a real go at Les & co, cos we know best !

The ex factory price will be nearer a fiver (will be made in China, not Hong Kong) but the price paid to Under Armour will be substantially higher due to design, marketing, branding and profit charges ! My guess would be that Saints pay around £15 which gives a 70% mark up (on return) which is fairly normal for a retailer !

Disagree, this is the distribution of TV money and should be seen differently from reward for league placings which already exists (approx £2.2 mil per place) ! The 'big 6' maintain that it is them alone who create the interest but ignore the fact that without the other teams there would be no league ! It is greed heaped on greed and guarantees only one thing - the gap will become wider ! IMHO it is neither fair nor sensible !

I will continue to encourage (brainwash!) my grandchildren to support the Saints ! They are the team of our family and there is no other consideration ! All this cr@p about we're having a bad time etc.. is nonsense because ups and downs are an inevitable part of the game ! If you only want to follow winning (big) teams then you are a 'glory hunter' and for me, that is shallow and unthinkable ! Saints till I die !

If it's any consolation Gandalf, it took me a bit of time to find it as well ( and I'm a really smart guy ) !

I'm guessing that they have ditched the 'early bird' system and that there is only one renewal price nowadays ? Anyway, like most others I will renew close to the June 22nd deadline and after such an abysmal season I suppose that the club had no option but to maintain the prices as before but am relieved nevertheless !

As a long term Saints fan I am extremely disappointed that our current club custodians cannot even be bothered to make an appearance nor outline their intentions! Instead this responsibility is delegated to someone who specialises in ‘fancy words & flowery phrases’ but never actually says anything of any value ! It is acknowledged that we (the fans) helped drag the club out of deep trouble in the last few weeks so I would have expected more in terms of inclusion but instead am left with a feeling that we are being treated with contempt !!

I have worked with guys like him ! Continous waffle and non commital responses indicate that he is covering his own arse ( and probably that of his cohorts ) ! Being a master of jargonistic, ‘double speak’ is nothing to be proud of IMO and talk of transparency is exactly that - talk ! I actually see him as a bigger problem than Les in that he is the chairman and the buck stops there !!
