That's what I thought too but Sammy Saint turned up at the end of half time as well. I want to know what role Mary has in the family. I was under the impression that Sammy is Super Saints' son. Is Mary his longtime estranged mother, and if so where has she been for the past 10 years? Or maybe she's his sister, or his girlfriend? Could she be adopted? You can't just go around introducing random new characters without any backstory, it's incredibly sloppy. I just hope the club address this as soon as possible. I have left feedback in the survey and would be grateful if any of the Saints Voice people that read this could raise it at the next meeting.

Valery had a very promising debut. Massive game for the lad and he did exactly the right thing, kept it simple in possession and covered his defensive position well. With a bit more confidence in sure we'll see him make more forward runs as he does for the U23's. Funny how some people were slagging the academy for not producing any players who could fit into the first team but yesterday we had 2 of them on the pitch and they both did well.

Watched the team shooting in the warm up yesterday. This guy was awful, poor technique, balls either going straight at the keeper or over the bar. Didn't seem like he had a clue about finishing.

Any discussion that includes Saints and the word "trophy" isn't really worth having.

Likely advertising them to the sort of fans who don't really support Saints but live in the area and like to watch live football. The or parents who have a kid that supports Saints and fancy "treating" them for Xmas. From the parents point of view they'll at least get to watch some good players.

Yeah, I thought that was a bizarre post. They did seem to always beat us in the seasons after the semi final but other than the handball goal last season they've largely been quite accomodating when we've played them recently.

They've been offering out cheap tickets to Tyro teams for this game. None of the kids in my son's team were interested.

By the end of that season we had Callum Davenport and Olivier Bernard who are still 2 of the worst players I've seen for us. Jamie Redknapp at least tried but couldn't run.

My favourite part of his post was that "no one will miss us" like anyone actually misses any team that gets relegated. The only team I actually miss us playing is Pompey because of the excitement. Couldn't give a crap about any of the others.

A fair point. Both teams had a couple of decent chances. We controlled the game for longer periods than they did but didn't create as enough clear cut chances as we should have. Austin was awful and should have been subbed far earlier. The CB's were actually pretty decent considering most people have that down as our worst combination. Hojbjerg our man of the match (again) and thought Lerma was decent for them. Their fans are an utter joke. That's supposed to be their BIG game and we barely heard a peep out of them. Laughable really.

He's currently banned from a charity shop in town. I think that says it all really.
