Unity is amazing and even have an ale called Be In That Number. What's not to like?

Every mention of Feyenoord makes me remember that day in Arnhem and the rumours that it was their fans who turned up in the square for a ruck. I've never been convinced it was but a lot of people seemed to think it at the time.

Palace just lost 6-2 to Barnet. Imagine the scenes on here if that happened to us in pre-season.

Worth checking out the Brave browser, you can opt out of all ads. I don't get any now.

Because it is.

I'm with egg. I couldn't care less what the kit looks like as long as it's some variation of red & white. Not sure what relevance Man Utd's grey kit has. We'd most likely have been winning whatever kit they were wearing. That was just a stupid excuse by Ferguson because he couldn't blame himself for the team's performance.

That USA goal against Sweden. The striker was offside behind the defender, although the defender couldn't be sure so played the ball which bounced to another player who scored. Surely the striker gained an advantage because if they hadn't been there the defender wouldn't have needed to try and play the ball? Next season is going to be a cluster. And if anyone next to me starts chanting V-A-R they're getting a slap. Even if it is a small child in the Family Stand.

The Avenue is still there. LSU isn't.

I dunno, he's a bit moody. Always seemed really grumpy when coaching my son, although that might be because he was coaching my son.

Vokins is better at free kicks and probably has a more balanced diet, other than that Shaw was way ahead of him in every aspect at the same age. Not that there's any shame in that because Shaw is an excellent player.

Definitely worth having this here. I rarely go to the other parts of the forum apart from when I want to laugh at the skates. Even though it's about other teams plenty of the posts are Saints related because they include discussion and results that directly affect us.

He'll be getting a lot more of a say than the last 3 managers.

Gareth Bale didn't even come off the bench in what was probably the last time he'll feature in a Real Madrid matchday squad. Their fans are proper weird. Imagine not liking the guy who scored in 2 Champions League finals and won a cack load of trophies with them.

https://twitter.com/cheesesofnaz?s=09 This guy has too much time on his hands, but I'm glad he did these pics because they are brilliant

Petered out into a cup final?
-
At least the fat bloke running on the pitch livened up the second half. Don't worry about banning him, slap those orders on the *****s holding up the "can I have your shirt" signs instead. FFS.

Gunn is the best keeper we have. Ask any proper goalkeeper coach rather than random idiots on a forum. I know gk coaches who work in pro clubs have played pro football. They all say the same.
-
Sholing U13's are Hampshire Cup champions. Just won 4-1 in the final against Whiteley. Beat the top 3 teams in Pompey on the way to lifting the trophy. Amazing.

Pretty sure that was his old place in Chilworth that he rented to Cortese. Must be worth a fair whack. I went to that house once to interview him, lovely place.
-
I presume he'll be interviewed on the pitch at St Mary's on Sunday? Maybe Saints will give him a cheque then.

That double nutmeg by Djenepo was enough for me. He seems like the sort of player who will divide the fan base. Loads of skill and direct running to get fans excited but then questionable final product which will keep the people who like to groan happy. Sign him up.

Heard that Watson tried to follow Koeman to Everton and applied for the GK Coach job there but didn't get it. Just goes to show what his former boss thought of him. I truly hope we stop this ridiculous club rule where the new manager can't bring his own GK coach because by all accounts Watson isn't up to it at all. Let Ralph bring in his own man before Gunn ends up ruined. By all accounts there's plenty of truth in what Crab Lungs says about Watson's training regime. "Today we're practicing diving to the left". Smash a load of shots to the left. "You saved them all, well done. Let's go and have a breather. Tomorrow we're practicing diving to the right." Goalkeeping is pretty easy if you know exactly where the shots are going. Sadly those pesky strikers during games don't tell you where they are going to put the ball.

In the big game of the weekend my son's U13 Sholing team won the Tyro Cup this afternoon beating Oakwood 4-0 at AFC Totton. Hampshire Cup final next weekend. They've already knocked out 2 of the best 3 teams from Pompey on the way and are playing the other on Sunday.

£80 for me and the 2 kids. It's a joke that West Ham charge £25 for concessions. Waste of what should be a decent away. Last game is supposed to be somewhat fun, that was anything but.

Worth a one year extension if Ralph wants him to stay and if he's happy to be a back up player. Otherwise let his contract run out and let him leave on a free at the end of next season.
