  1. Scanning past the pictures I thought the last one said "Our dream is ream"
  2. Cortese will have to call him into the office and rip up another transfer offer in front of him.
  3. Stevie Wonder - Innervisions Global Communcation - 76'14 KLF - Chill Out Low - The Things We Lost In The Fire Beach Boys - Smile
  4. Can't wait. I think Froome will win reasonably easily (if you can say that about a 3 week bike race) as Sky have such a strong team out. Well chuffed to see Kennaugh get the nod because he was excellent in the Giro and could be an overall challenger in a few years. Massively looking forward to seeing Peter Sagan rip the field apart on a few stages. The bloke is an utter monster. He's my pick for the Green Jersey as even though Cavendish has his number on the flat finishes, stick a few hills in and Sagan leaves the rest trailing. He was even up the front for a while on a mountain stage last year. I love this clip of him parking his bike:
  5. I've got a few in the loft and that issue of Red Stripe. The Ugly was a decent fanzine, the fans were lucky to have it. There's one on the go now, bloke sells it by the footbridge opposite where King Alfred's was but I haven't bought it. He's obviously not to bothered about advertising because I've never seen him register here to mention it.
  6. +1 Too funny. Take a bow.
  7. If we signed Hooper and Wanayama that Celtic forum would go into meltdown.
  8. He still looks 12. Counts as child abuse if you ask me.
  9. I'm pretty sure it was Mao Cap who followed Maidstone and lived in Kent. What with their new stadium, massive support and promotion last season he's probably been busy supporting them. I had a few discussions with him about Maidstone as I watch them occasionally too. I miss Morph.
  10. The industrial estate behind the Chapel has plenty of free parking and is less than a 3 minute walk away. If no one was paying to park and people were mentioning it to the ticket office/megastore staff I'm sure it would feed back to whoever made the decision pretty quickly.
  11. It makes no difference whatsoever on the pitch as to who is captain. The players who aren't don't stop encouraging or organising just because they aren't wearing the armband. What Weston says is true, it's the work they do behind the scenes and off the pitch that's more important.
  12. That's hilarious. What the **** are they playing at? Decent odds here: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/newcastle/alan-pardew-in-charge-last-day-of-season
  13. Did this bloke play for our first team?
  14. We went into the worst working men's club before. I'm reasonably sure they were selling whippet burgers because we didn't see any whippets all day and as we all know towns like Rotherham are FULL of them.
  15. So the booing was nothing to do with his ability, just that sections of the crowd weren't aesthetically happy with his face?
  16. The only thing I can think of regards the Rotherham game was that it wasn't a replay but was played midweek due to the original game being called off. No idea if the same happened at Leicester. But if it did we would have made the 4th round draw without winning or even playing a game.
  17. Dowie got plenty of abuse when he first signed. I even remember his name being booed when it was announced over the tannoy after he'd scored. Didn't affect him though, as while he didn't necessarily start playing any better he won most people over with his hard work and winning of free kicks/penalties for Matty to score from.
  18. Seems like everyone who goes to the ticket office can. I moved and bought a new ST for my son at the same time. She didn't mention anything about filling in a form and waiting.
  19. All depends on injuries and suspension. If 2 of our CM's were out for any period then Ward-Prowse would get a fair amount of games. There's always the possibility to send him out on a month loan here and there and recall him if we are struggling for midfielders.
  20. 200/1 to finish 4th!
  21. I'll spaff in my crusty y-fronts if we sign Banega.
  22. It also looks like someone has ****ed all over the carpet in the front room. At least I could blame the previous owner after rolling in after an away game.
  23. Actually it faces the training ground. I'd have to peak through the fence instead.
  24. I'm very tempted by this house which backs onto Staplewood. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-42007091.html If only there was a tree in the garden of sufficient height I could climb it to spy on training.
