  1. You'll have to get them to ring up or go to the ground the day they go on sale and request those seats. I sat in the middle of 5 ST holders but have just moved. A mate wants my seat but the ticket office just gave me the above advice. I'm sure if they get in quick it will be fine (unless anyone who already has a ST has transferred their seat and taken them)
  2. We're fortunate he does use twitter, pretty much all the players who were on it a few years back have stopped using it completely. (Cork, Hooiveld, Puncheon, Lallana etc) Call me sad, but I used to enjoy seeing the players reactions on twitter when travelling back from away games and the messages where they'd mention the great support we'd given them. Yes, I know it was mostly a blowing smoke up our arses exercise but it raised a smile when you'd put the effort into going and still had a couple of hours travel to go.
  3. The reason he's staying with the same family in Southampton next season rather than move into his own place is that the club think he's a bit dim.
  4. Renewed, bought a new ticket for my son and moved to the family stand. Despite them booting out people who were sat in there without kids there were hardly any seats left in the whole section. Was only single seats from blocks 20-23. Presumably most people in there renew, so for anyone wanting a new season ticket in that area it may pay to get in sharpish once they go on sale.
  5. He's got the best surname anyone can want, so he's already my favourite Saints player.
  6. That's right. Do the club legally have to honour their terms and conditions?
  7. That'll be interesting.
  8. I'm sure a few people on here also remember that day at Maze Hill very well.
  9. Being supremely intelligent I already listen to Radio 4. Thanks for the heads up though.
  10. And to relate that back to Saints, Mark Dennis was our postman.
  11. Bandai, then THE Games who I worked for. THE did all the marketing, distribution etc for Nintendo exclusively in the UK and were owned by John Menzies until the Germans pulled the Nintendo operation from the UK even though we were their most profitable subsidiary. Not that I'm still bitter.
  12. Oh dear... @jdowling1991 Down at St Mary's. Queuing up for my Season ticket at 12.33 am it is mad but i love my football club #saintsfc
  13. It's all about the USB this season. Next season it will be a microchip injected into our brains.
  14. No. I'm in no rush, will probably go to the ground next week.
  15. They told me that too, as I'm moving from block 36 to the family stand to get a season ticket with my 7yo.
  16. I worked for both of them, neither are based here anymore. Nintendo was in Boyatt Wood but the Germans centralised the European Operations and made us all redundant. Swatch was based in Eastleigh (opposite the train station) but hasn't operated there for a good few years. Omega, who had the last clock in St Mary's, were part of the Swatch Group.
  17. We'd need about 6 quality new players to have a decent chance because our squad is far too short in depth. If Cork & Schneiderlin were both out for a month or two at the same time I could see us struggling massively.
  18. This thread should be a sticky.
  19. 9 for me. Worked out a couple I was unsure of from the areas surrounding the ground.
  20. If the £200m includes wages then it's a fair point.
  21. Always a sad day when an ex-Saint passes, even those who I wasn't lucky enough to see play. RIP Ron.
  22. Why is this nonsense been made a sticky?
  23. Hull is the only Premier League ground I haven't been to, so that's top of the list. Newcastle and/or Sunderland too as I have good friends up there. Always aim to go to them all but finances inhibit that. Would probably help if I got a job rather than relying on my other half bunging me the cash!
  24. Less pathetic than a grown man pretending not to be himself on an internet forum he's signed up to again after being banned.
  25. All the goons who still insist on singing it can now change the words to "Jason Puncheon, he'll sh!t on your floor"
