Tettey broke up most of our play and reduced us to aiming direct to Lambert by the end. Hoolahan was good and they pretty much bossed the midfield in the second half. Normally the weekend before Xmas, don't want to peak too early. Then I put presents under it straight away to tease the kids.

We will play well but lose a close game. I just think they'll have too much quality up front.

He was very good yesterday. However because he's so good I get frustrated when he wastes possession in silly ways. This does happen a fair amount and usually when he's worked himsef into a great position at which point he tries to play a cute, killer pass and gives the ball away. Case in point at 2-1 against Man Utd when he broke down the right, Ward-Prowse got himself free and was screaming for the ball in the middle. Lambert looks up, delays the pass, delays the pass, delays the pass and then tries to square it far too late and the ball is lost. I still love him though.

Some mongs will boo him, and if we are winning we'll get the "Pardew, what's the score" chants. I'm pretty amiguous towards him on the whole. He signed some good players and helped us get to the JPT final and have a fantastic day at Wembley. But on the flip side we played some awful games under him (Swindon away 1-0 loss stands out) and for some reason I've never thought of him as a likeable person. I certainly wouldn't ever consider booing him though.

Some of the non league sheds that serve up 'food' are plain minging. In the away end at Hereford a couple of weeks ago they had a ropey food van called Starchip Enterprise.

Games like this are why we go to football. Massive match, both teams desperate for a win in front of a sell out crowd and 3000 of us. Can't wait.

Our food is terrible and from my seat in Block 36 it stinks of onions. Norwich is clearly the best.
