Yep. We were on the slip road at 1915 and could see the ground. My mate jumped out just after kick off and made his way down while I spent ages looking for somewhere to park. Ebded up going in the home end and being escorted through by stewards. Almost 6 hours in the car for 45 mins of football! Mental. Agree that there were some people booing Guly, but it's been like that for months now and they probably won't ever stop. Thought our fans were excellent in the last 20 minutes. Yet again barely a peep out of the opposition (and in a full stadium!) except for the "You're going down with the Villa" chants. Quite liked our response of "We're going down on your sister" which amused me at the time. Good to see a lot of lads down the front stood on seats and getting everyone going. Adkins coming over at the end was a response to us singing his name during injury time. We all know it isn't solely his fault.

Good player, scored a cracker on Saturday at Forest. I'd buy him in January basically because he'd stay when we get relegated and would be a top player next season!

I vaguely know her because she lives in my village and do know quite a few of her friends. Never heard her mention football before so to be honest I doubt she has a clue. Although probably no less of a clue than a lot of people on here to be fair.

Or £39 for 'severely restricted view' seats. Hahaha. They can **** off if they think I'm paying that. It was bad enough paying £39 at West Ham, but at least that's relatively inexpensive to get to.

I agree with a few others above and wouldn't be in the slightest bit bothered if we got relegated. Obviously I want Saints to win every game they play but the Premier League is a complete ballache for us fans who attend matches due to the ridiculous expense and completely random kick off times. Oh and the atmosphere is often awful which is quite an achievement considering we are playing in front of big crowds most weeks.

Maidstone United. Grew up there and watched them quite a bit as a nipper. Still see them a few times a season.

I watch Maidstone United a few times a season, mainly when they are away somewhere around Sussex/Surrey. They are ripping up the Ryman South this season and getting home crowds of about 1700 in their new ground. Saw Hamble play in the FA Vase a few weeks ago. It was a terrible match enlivened only by 8 kids doing the Poznan behind the goal when Hamble scored. Would have gone to another random local game this weekend but my Shrewsbury supporting mate got us tickets to Hereford vs Shrewsbury. Local derby, FA Cup first round on the terrace. Should be good.

Asdie from the obvious I'll go Waigo for the last 5 minutes at Yeovil when he played right back, right wing and up front at the same time and set up Barnard to get us a last minute win. Hammond for his awful header from a yard at Northampton in the cup which didn't go in but was given as a goal.

I was surprised to read he has 50 staff supporting him. He obviously has a huge influence on the whole club which on one hand (the Academy) is going very well, yet on the other (the first team) is going very badly. He has nothing in his managerial record to suggest any input on how the first team play would be beneficial.

I'd imagine we'll take a couple of hundred. Sadly I can't see anyting other than a defeat here. Leeds will put out a strong team and have enough quality to defeat our back up players who will be disjointed due to the fact they spend little time playing first team games together.

No, Reading haven't won a league game yet. Drew with Newcastle and Swansea and someone else (can't remember who)
-
Woah QPR really should have equalised then.
-
That Arsenal goal took about 17 shots to go in.
-
Mbia sent off for a hilarious swipe at Vermaelen.
-
Carzola just blasted over an open goal from 8 yards.
-
I heard Stuart Hall on 5live at half time saying West Ham's football was like something out of the dark ages.
-
Watching Arsenal vs QPR. Walcott just come on, hope he can grab a winner. Arsenal poor so far. Ramsey is playing terribly.
-
No Schneiderlin? You are a mentalist.
-
Remember when our fans sang "Paulo Di Canio, he's such a wan.kio." Another moment of genius from us.

Benidorm. Now that was hilari...oh ok.

Sure is. I was listening this morning to a very interesting programme where factory workers in the US and China were questioning each other on working conditions and cultures. The other day I heard a programme about internet bullying where a presenter from London was conversing with a chap from Northern Ireland, a girl from Canada and taking calls on Skype from Taiwan and South Africa. You don't get that anywhere else. As for the rest of the BBC, well I'm a huge fan despite the fact a lot of it isn't to my taste but the stuff that is includes broadcasting which is unparalleled throughout the world. Maybe they do try to spread themselves too thinly but there's a lot of people with different tastes out there who pay the license fee and are entitled to be catered for.

Is it wooden? If so it will turn up on the last day of the season once our bottom of the table finish has been confirmed.

Not much to add other than the direness of the atmosphere. Maybe it's my memory playing tricks on me, but before we got relegated in 2005 things seemed a lot less soulless and anodyne. There was a full ground yesterday but other than a few blokes belting the odd song out to the left of us I barely heard a peep out of them. It appears now that 95% of fans are happy to stand up and cheer when their team scores but like to spend the rest of the game sat on their hands.

All this "experts" and "intelligent posters" stuff is fu.cking boring. Please everyone just shut up about it. Football fans in differing opinions shock.
