What's the wierdest thing you've ever seen someone do at football?

Norwich away when Puncheon ran the game there was a woman sat in the back row reading. She also had some shopping with her. -
Get in. This is quality. I hope he closes this out in 3 now, mainly because it's my son's birthday tomorrow and he'll wake up at 6.30 all excited. I won't need that if I've sat up to 2am watching a 5 setter.

I'm loving this match. There's been some incredible stuff considering the conditions. Come on Murray. Oh and for the fans of the PTS thread, I'm watching a stream on nutjob.eu. It's ok, not the best stream. But, well I just had to.

I liked the bit about urinating in the shower.

Everton at St Mary's. 93 minutes gone. Peter Crouch please just run that ball into the corner. What's he doing trying to score? Hoooooof, oh ****. Marcus Bent. Goal. Certain relegation.

We were so wet we all ended up sat in the car in our pants. Spent almost an hour queuing to get back onto the main road and left Derby after midnight. All of us had to be up for work the next morning. Horrible.

For some reason one that sticks in my mind was a 1-0 loss to Spurs at the Dell, Jose Dominguez scored late on. Not sure if anyone remembers but Ian Walker spat at some Saints fans near us in the front of the Archers. At the time I lived 3 minutes walk from the ground and went straight home without cooling off. I was so ****ed off I started kicking cupboard doors and chucking random stuff at walls only for my girlfriends Mum to appear out of the kitchen as I was in the process of lobbing the tv remote across the room. She made a hasty exit, so at least there was one positive outcome from the result.

We can't have a win against Pompey? Not sure who I've seen beat them 3 times but it must have been a different team than Saints.

Some of these climbs are ridiculous. Fair play to Contador he deserves it with his relentless attacks. Froome has just had too many races recently to keep up.
-
I watched some of his match last night, started terribly but then at 5-1 down in the second set everything seemed to click and he just waltzed through the rest of the game. Impressive, but he'll need to cut out the slow start if he wants to reach the final.

If we need a new goalkeeper this could be our man. His distribution is certainly better than Kelvin's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwp4CV_lBG8

He's ok. Love him for what he's contributed to the club since he's been here. As for his kicking, well yes it's pretty poor. However people need to realise he's being asked to play it out short. If he was tasked with walloping long every time we wouldn't be having this discussion. Therefore his poor short passes are not just his fault, it's how the management want to play the game and they are surely aware of his limitations in that department and willing to take the associated risks.

He's been excellent, vey impressed with his composure, touch and ability to keep passing moves flowing. Mind you he lost Ferdinand for their equaliser yesterday, something from which I'm sure he'll learn!

I like your posts but please don't use that phrase. It's horrible, Harry Redknapp says it constantly and the less time I spend being reminded of him the better!

Yep. Guly picks it. -
I don't recall any washing machine based conversations although after the chip based incident it's feasible that I would have joined in given half a chance, especially if they'd had any advice on the best ways of getting out ketchup stains.
-
Whatever happens to him he has my thanks for that goal at Reading which sparked absolute bedlam in the away end. Was a great moment.
-
Didn't we have 1 point after 9 games in the great escape season?
-
I thought it would be goal of the night until I saw the highlights of the Forest vs Wigan game. There were some seriously incredible goals in that.
-
Haha, I'm still quite pleased with myself for not covering everyone else with chips when Lee scored.

The 'getting a bit desparate' Centre Back thread.

Alan Nixon will be glad when the transfer window is closed as he won't keep getting pestered by tweets from random Saints fans foaming at the mouth for a nugget of transfer information. Seriously some people need to get a grip! -
He looked good but had no end product. Socks pulled up above the knee, shaved side of head, slicked up hair on top, strutting around the pitch like Cristiano Ronaldo but with less than 1% of the ability. The header he fluffed at the back post in the first half was embarassing. I thoroughly enjoyed the second half despite dropping a chip covered in ketchup down my t shirt and staining it. That'll teach me to eat at football.

Apparently Sky wanted the game on tv on Thursday but Saints said no.

Spoke to a Blackburn mate about this. He said "you wouldn't even want to swap Goodwillie for a kebab. He's fuc.king sh.it."

I'm still convinced Alpine is a creation by the owners of this site to get the post counts and hit rates up. As soon as anything slightly decent happens he comes on all doom and gloom and guarantees 10 replies and a page or so of fall out.
