I'm ambiguous to it, but the people that don't want a fan on the board seem to completely ignore Swansea and how well they are doing. As for the charter, well if we have to do one, just do it.

Rubbish crowd. The Northam made the odd bit of noise, no one else joined in. Not sure why they bothered opening the Chapel. All 37 people sat in it could have gone in any of the 3 other stands.

Easy win. Rodriguez was class in the first half. Great touch on him. Gazza made a couple of good saves but dropped a few crosses. Richardson lively and got into decent advanced positions but wasted most crosses. Yoshida and Hooiveld both comfortable. Good to see them play together as they'll no doubt be doing it at some point in the Premier League this season. Seaborne was ok but that's his level. Played some decent passes in the second half. Can't be too harsh on him because he's not really a left back Chaplow and Cork both played well. Cork looked fine fitness wise until he went off. Ward-Prowse quiet. De Ridder saw a lot of the ball and ran well with it until it got to the point when he had to go past the defender who had backed off. He would then either fail to beat his man or play a poor pass. He just doesn't have the end product we need from a player like him. Lucky to get the penalty. Guly was ok. Should have scored in the first half when through one on one. Rodriguez best player on the pitch if not a bit quieter in the second half when we seemed to stop passing to him. There was a Polish flag welcoming Boruc in the Kingsland. Halsey fell over. The queues for food in the Itchen concourse were ridiculous and Tango Man had his top off.

There's loads of street parking in Woolston. Some of it is permits only but that's only a small bit near the bridge. I normally park in Radstock Road but you can drive down Garton Road by Woolston Station and park right by the bridge for free. Best to turn your car around before you park though as it's a dead end and generally gets full up the nearer to kick off you get anf can be a pain to turn around if you are back swiftly. As for pubs the big one is called the Bridge and is definitely Saints. There's not really any other pubs around that bit of Woolston for some reason.

Radio 4 for the news, then 6Music for me. In fact I tend to switch between the 2 throughout the day. 6Music can be frustrating in that they still persist with a playlist (at the moment the fu.cking Cribs keep getting airtime) but they don't play the same thing 4 times a day like R1 & 2 do and you get some real top music you don't hear anywhere else. Plus, and most importantly for me, the DJ's actually know and care about the music they play.

Love that goal. Pity it misses off Lallana's amusing pass to Puncheon that he ended up running onto himself before sticking the cross in.

Judging by the predicted low turnout the club will be making more money today from hiring out what must be most of the stadium to British Gas. Must have been a hundred or so of their vans in the car parks plus other assorted vehicles when I was getting West Ham tickets earlier.

Same reason I'm missing Everton. Mine is on some hen do thing that afternoon/evening. Ridiculous.
-
There will be hardly anyone there tonight so you'll have no trouble getting away quick. Dunno about parking though as I come from the East of the city and walk over the Itchen Bridge from Woolston.

Haha. Surely it makes sense for the ticket office to say priority for certain games is based on x number of loyalty points rather than a random number of away games been to? I heard 2 blokes moaning about it when I was at the the ground earlier. One saying that he's been a loyal fan for 19 years but didn't go to any of our previous away games this season. Not that loyal then!

I'm on Virgin but need to get a new tivo box because the one we have is terrible now. Navigation is slow and it will seemingly randomly reboot when it feels like it. It's also annoying not having Sky Atlantic as there has been a huge amount of good new shows on their recently. As said above the customer services is pretty bad but to be fair I haven't needed to use them more than a few times in about 6 years. Their broadband is the nuts where I am. Always get fast speeds. Having Sky also involves giving Rupert Murdoch money which just can't be good.

Also I think the Secret Fan is a skate after a conversation I had with him on twitter.
-
The secret pundit wrote that article. There's loads of them now. As for Dave Kitson I can't see it being him. Rumours are it's Danny Murphy.
-
And I hope Dave Jones gets a decent reception. Problem is a lot of our younger fans won't even know much about him, he left 12 years ago!

If at some point today we announce Lee is starting then there will be 25k there. 10k Saints, 500 Wednesday and 14500 Japanese.
-
Seems fair. I'd imagine we'll sell the initial batch to the first 2 categories of fan and then take the other 1200 odd.
-
Is Lee fit?
-
Same but Butterfield RB. Richardson will be needed next weekend.

Who's
-
I have a man crush on him already.
-
Hopefully he gave their fans a sly wink or 3 today.

To be fair their goal came from a miss-hit shot although 2 players going for the same ball before it fell to Ireland was poor. Although I lay the blame at Puncheon who gave the ball away with a horribly lazy pass before the goal highlights kicked in.
-
Looked better than at Stevenage albeit with not a great deal to do. I liked his faking of a clearance to get a goal kick in the first half and the tying of the shoelaces near the end. I missed his save at the start of the second half due to being too slow back up the stairs after half time.

Can today get any better?
