  1. The positivity is about the performance not the result, yes it was gutting when their winner went, if this happened against Brighton the feeling would be completely different. it's all about nuance, we scored two nice away goals against the inform side and played really well. That's a currency we can take into the upcoming games and its down to RH and the boys to produce this against Brighton now. Do that and we will be on our way to being safe. That's why people are ok with yesterday's game.
  2. 27500 attendance last night, 31400 against Cardiff. I hope the board take some message from this.
  3. And this is what the Labour party wants so they can then blame everything on the disastrous Tory Brexit (a saying they are starting to roll out now). It's all ideologues clashing trying to get maximum payback for themselves, none of this is about what is good for the country.
  4. Pulis junior was at Saints and he owed his place in football to his dad. The article is about nepotism in sport.
  5. Seeing that quite a few of them are then maybe the family requested it, its not too hard to get. After all he was a young man who probably lived in jeans and trainers.
  6. Burnley won't feel that they've done enough they are just 3 points off relegation and 2 points off Newcastle.
  7. We weren't lucky we were very cheap.
  8. add football mongboards and mongboard characters to the list.
  9. LD is right the booing of him and the ridicule he recieved for Puels Henry comments was ****. I can't understand why a young player coming through the ranks gets decent support whilst a young player bought from another club doesn't.
  10. This classic Batman; statement followed by how this shows up some posters on here. You have been doing this for over a decade now, you need a new thing bruv.
  11. But only if the right targets are available, you don't want the club to just buy for the sake of it, right?
  12. This is a bit dramatic, he's just got an opinion that's all. He's a volunteer football board moderator not a monk living to some sort of higher moral code.
  13. Like who.
  14. You say this like he played for us in the 1980's, he was here less than 2 years ago.
  15. He bought a load of credits with that goal. I wasn't there but watched with my young son and daughter and we all went mental.
  16. That's because in the prem you have nominated penalty takers, not if you win it you take it like on the playground.
  17. It's not the sum its the hassle of paying, I can't be arsed to work out how to pay and I'm sure potential new posters are the same.
  18. Maybe thats why they are 7th.
  19. That sounds ****.
  20. Leicester are up and down the table, almost relegated to winning the league to almost regated to the middle to different positions on a monthly basis. Make you think the momentum theory is a pile of ****.
  21. No where in the story did it say he was dropped from the team because of it. He hasn't made the team for other reasons.
  22. We haven't beaten Tranmere away since 1959, including that FA Cup replay.
  23. Whoa there old fool, where was I whinging. I know you like to be triggered and have a good old moan but you completely ignored my next post. The common narrative is that we have assembled a **** squad, in the hands of two **** managers the players look poor, but with RH they look a lot better already because they aren't that bad. Even with Hughes we were no where nearly as bad as the **** Derby or Sunderland sides that went down. Because old Les wasn't as bad as people like to make out, he was the one that wasn't sold on Mark Hughes and wanted to look at other managers this summer and probably one of those on his list was RH. And Bad Ralph, another derided figure seems to have been instrumental in bringing Good Ralph in. So yes we seem to have got our hands on a really decent manager and with our players that are not too bad we look set to steady the ship and push on. Batman another one who likes to misunderstand. What he has done is set the players up to play in his style of football, he is working on their condition and will be coaching them, but the the small amount of sessions he has had will have had little effect on their condition or skill level. The positive effect so far has been down to his style of management and his footballing philosophy, Time will tell if he is capable of improving the players, I have hunch that he will be.
  24. No it wouldn't, just like beating CP away wasn't regarded as a miracle. If we were stuck with MH we would have every chance of beating Huddersfield away. I love what Ralph is bringing to the team and pleased that we now have a football vision and someone to implement it. I know its fashionable to think we have a **** squad but we haven't. Ralph hasn't overhauled their condition or coached them to improve in two wesks, because that is impossible. We have a decent squad and now a decent manager and it will be interesting to see what they can do together.
  25. Beating Huddersfield really isn't a miracle.
