  1. Because I called you a thicko are you now following me around with your passive aggressive hard man act. Give it up mate you don't really pull it off.
  2. This should put the moaning about this transfer to bed, but it won't. Who will be the first to claim that we only went in for him because we knew we wouldn't get him.
  3. Sorry pal, I don't understand your teenager speak.
  4. Tell us what you have done otherwise shut the **** up.
  5. That would need to be BN, thick ****.
  6. It would be no different to a USA only world cup or this Russian one for that matter. This throwing the arms up in the air because the corporates don't care about the humble fan is a bit naive, that ship sailed years ago.
  7. I hope they hurry up and invent airplanes.
  8. On the home shirt the UA logo could have gone up on the top red section this would have avoided the clumsy black line around the logo.
  9. That's about the right ratio seeing as there are 8 players representing 130 years.
  10. But it's equally acceptable to want to see him some more before a full assessment is made. The evidence isn't looking good but equally his opportunities last season were not in an ideal situation.
  11. Where has this ******** come from that Puel and Pelligrino were only here because they were yes men playing the type of football prescribed by Les. There is no evidence for it apart from received wisdom on here. Puel was sacked after one season, a season where we were never in a relegation battle and got to a cup final. Don't you think that would have been enough for Puel to have kept his job for at least another season if he was a 'yes man' playing the Lesly way. Puel was asked to change his approach but refused so was binned, so if Les only hired a yes man why did Pelligrino play the same way as the football that got Puel the sack and despite Les preferring a different approach like the high press style he spoke about in his press release. Surely if Pelligrino was a yes man he would have played that way. Les has made some serious recruitment mistakes but please can we drop the yes man ****e.
  12. Surely that sort of stuff should be left to retail professionals and away from amutures however well meaning.
  13. They should play with a smaller ball, the size 5 is slightly too large.
  14. Seriously being involved in China isn't going to open up an income stream worth worrying about. So we might pick up a few supporters who like a smaller team, how will that translate; shirt sales probably not much as they are just as likely to buy knock off, a few match tickets, licencing deals will be small fry, we may get on tele there a bit more and I guess clubs might get paid individually for Chinese tv rights rather than collectively, so that will be nice. But we are not going to suddenly be everyones favourite watch because we have a Chinese owner, they are going to want to watch a good side. So the best way to get on tv more is to have a good team. I might be a stupid poster but Im guessing this big Chinese market that we now have got an amazing in on will still want to watch the big clubs. I remember when it was said the Ralph was going to tap into the US market, how did thst work out, a UA deal that at a guess is no better than an Adidas deal. Professor (using the same naming technique as Curly of Corrie) said that KL chose a Chinese buyer to get into this untapped market as though it was a stroke of genius only she and the higher minded posters like the prof can understand, but it seems to me that the club was sold to the only rider in the race. Us stupid posters can understand that there may be some benefit from a higher profile in China, but to think it's was by design and some master plan to the top table is ********.
  15. **** off you stupid ****. Tell me how we are going to increase our revenue considerably by being involved in China. A few licencing deals and some Chinese ads around the pitch will buy us a quarter of Carillo.
  16. It's all a bit ******** really. We have a new person in charge that has done **** all to manage the club apart from arrange a trip to his home country just so he can swing his ****.
  17. Les and co were aware of what was going on, they just didn't want to give into the players again like they did with Puel because the fear is this sets up a culture where the players can pick and choose when to play for the manager. They were hoping the players would get their act together and get a run of results that would make us safe. When this didn't happen they had to act.
  18. If anyone was in doubt as to what a loser this bloke is.
  19. This is the problem with changing managers mid-season, the choice is limited and is the fire fighter the best long term option. But it became obvious that we couldn't limp to the end with MP2. I think the fan base could not accept another appointment like the last two so the pressure will be on. The only way to replace MH is with a big name, but I can't see us doing that, so sticking with MH is the safest option.
  20. If anyone thinks we could have made those players stay they are deluded. Just look at the trouble keeping VVD caused and the apparent unrest from keeping Bertrand and Cedric You could argue that we shouldn't have let the first lot go and create the expectation that we are willing to sell. But the money was needed to improve our wages offer and players may not have come here if we were known for playing hardball. Our big signings have not come off and that's where we need the improvement. I don't think we kept VVD for any sort of change in policy it was more to do with the club being up for sale. We have had an unhappy camp all season and it's only partly been down to the **** manager.
  21. or you can just look up at the big screen.
  22. I'm middle aged and never bought programmes, when I was younger I would much rather have another pint and not the hassle of looking after it afterwards. So I never got into the habit. I did but the odd away programme just for the info bit about the team. Now with everything online there really is little point. Another nail in the printers coffin.
  23. Come on Sue keep up.
  24. As the atmosphere was so good yesterday Im assuming St Mary's was full of the proper hard core fans, no tourists or families or middle class couples or childish 40 year old men or kids or old codgers or modern football fans.
