The West Ham game was at least entertaining as most 3-2 games are but the lack of consistency is really killing any feelings towards the team. You just know you’ll turn up and spend half the game thinking I wish I’d done something else!

Think you have to expect with a player like him that he will be a bit wimpy, might not tackle as much as our "hero" redmond but will probably be our best chance of a piece of magic that could win us a game.

You did watch the game on Saturday right? ;-) In fairness we don't seem to have any real break through players around at the moment and the best ones are out on loan so we can hardly expect much from our youth teams.

And yet our manager did not seem to mind us being totally battered in midfield and decided to leave our record signing on the bench. I'm yet to see MP tactically change a game for th better. Subs today were poor. Both issues the same as under Puel. Really disappointing game but the pre match language of trying to compete with Watford poor form Saints!

Having next to no songs for our players doesn't really help and those that do have a song e.g Davis rarely do anything of note that makes you want to sing it! Few goals and we will be fine again but god only knows when that will come about!

Makes sense for the club to come out and publicly state they will not entertain Liverpool or anyone else's bid this year even if it repeats itself. Get VVD into realising he has no choice but to stay and get on with it.

Hope the club hold firm and refuse to deal with Liverpool AND make this explicit to Virgil. I actually am flabbergasted that he would essentially go on strike to sign for them? Virgil seriously? You are far too good for them! Probably worth leaking our evidence to the media ... it's what all big clubs do right?

I fully agree they didn't fancy helping us out then and now we should fight tooth and nail to ensure if he does go it's to anyone but them.

First half reasonable but so defensively minded you could see Gabbi kicking off about th lack of supporting pressure from midfield. 2nd half we had zero going forward we used to have a style of play now we just pass about aimlessly waiting for an opportunity to slow things down and let the oppo get back into shape. The midfield and strikers were so far apart tonight that they probably had to be reintroduced at full time. Utter dross at the moment you could feel the life being dragged out of the support watching this once we went 1-0 down. Tadic has been dire for weeks now yet stays on for the majority of the game and Bertrand has not been the left back of last year. Would be tempted to stick McQueen in next weekend just to shake him up a bit.

Bertrand at Chelsea? With the amount of crosses we seem to want to blast in from all angles though you'd think a pelle type player would have been on the agenda.

Both of which were against championship/league 1 opposition. He looked utterly awful when given a chance and fully deserv d to be shipped out. Didn't do it her at alol which doesn't necessarily lead on to him being a good player but clearly wasn't up to the prem.

Sad state of affairs when a cup final manager has fans looking at the next run of fixtures and thinks he could be out of a job next week. Obviously not going to sack him yet but we play some truly dire football at times this season. No CB cover, no news on when VVD will be back I can't see us being relegated but certainly think we will struggle next year if Puel is still in charge.

I think they have to have at least 5 games attached to their customer number though which not everyone will have done so you might sneak in, good luck!

Do you not think that with a bit of a more up tempo song before games might help create a bit of an atmosphere? I've no issue with them playing the song itself but as a piece of music to whip up the crowd just as the teams come out it's not very good. Obviously would be great if the fans themselves just belted out a song before games but at 12am on a Sunday sometimes they need a bit of a hand!

Truly awful. I was hoping they'd done it for a laugh and it would be buried after one play. Kills the atmosphere before games just get back to the saints are coming at least that was a little bit up beat.
