We were very poor, now we're pretty good. What changed?

The influence of RK. -
No disrespect. ?

The Arsenal and Villa games weren't the catalyst, they were the result of whatever was the catalyst. What changed around and after the run culminating in the 9-0? We were bad before the drubbing, the most obvious issue being the lack of defensive organisation. The only conclusion anyone can really come to is that Ralph's management changed, and the clearest outward sign of this is that Kitzbichler who had joined a little before began to have an impact. That doesn't necessarily mean he was directly responsible, but more that Ralph once again had a trusted assistant, a sounding board, able to bounce ideas off, someone to give him more information. Even the fact that he had someone alongside who he could dis uss in his native tongue might have made some difference. Its not rocket science, very few managers are capable of going it alone. By the way Happy Birthday Richard K.

Kitzbichler probably.

Bit like beating Skates. Can score against 3rd level team.
-
8 at the moment, though it will be 7 at best after tomorrow's games. Start to think its OK when the gap gets to 10 points.
-
Lost on aggregate. Great result today.

This. The offside law needs to be changed again (it has been changed often in the past). VAR is not the problem with offside. Offside is the problem

Maddison is fine according to Brenda in his press conference. Took a blow to the head in the Villa game and looked a little groggy, had some tests but is fine and training with the team as normal. Ndidi is indeedy out.
-
Apparently they are "pleased to report he is living in a care home". Really quite disgraceful "journalism".
-
You think that's OK?
-
At least Kane won't be playing.
-
Pity that we can't keep this as Jimmy Shields related, but the Echo article on George was pulled much earlier today. Either they got it wrong or the family requested its removal.

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25

Think you are misreading the Klarer loan. Exactly what he needs for development. At 19 he is not going to break into our first team for a while. Loans to lower level leagues are designed to toughen him up and experience playing regular competitive football. Obviously going to Austria allows him to be close to family, its not easy for young kids to live so far away from home for so long. Reckon he will be here for a few years yet, maybe in a couple of years we will see him beginning to make inroads to the 1st team. -
Down to 10 players again as Barnes is back at Southampton due to injury curtailing his loan to Eastleigh early.
-
This. Truth is he has the potential to be far and away the best CB we have. Anyone who says he is rubbish is deluded. But his lack of concentration, his arrogance and his **** headed Ness makes him a complete liability. What he needs is a coach who is sympathetic and understands what is needed and can help the guy. Ralph is not that guy (no criticism intended). There is a very good player/defender In there waiting to get out. Bit like what has happened with Stephens. Maybe someone like Koeman would be able to harness his potential (Erwin possibly rather than Ron).
-
Ndidi out till Feb.
-
Maybe Tyrone Mings will do us the favour.
-
See how he gets on tonight then
-
It was only announced yesterday (Tuesday).
-
Replace him with Klarer wh has gone to SKN St Polten.
-
Not all of it is directly attributable to the number of games, some clubs need to take a look at themselves and understand that their methods for training and recovery need to be reviewed and improved. Maybe something that dinosaurs like Steve Bruce need to be more aware of.
-
Hopefully Vardy won't have recovered from his calf injury. Some doubt that he will be ready for LC SF on Wednesday, and if he does play in that will he make it for the PL game against us.
-
Thing is will they get drawn against Southampton Women in the next round (the 8 time winners of the FA Cup)? They beat WBA 3-1. Southampton FC Women vs Southampton Women's FC could be a commentator's nightmare.
