  1. Dan Harding? Did his bit for the team, always put the effort in, played his part on our rise up the leagues.
  2. http://www.90min.com/posts/2638221-collymore-i-fear-benteke-and-lallana-could-be-sold-by-jurgen-klopp?a_aid=35681 Stan Collymoore saying he thinks Lallana and Benteke will be sold. What made me laugh was him saying Lallana doesn't fit the profile for a high pressing game...He did okay under Poch here! Would you take him back here?
  3. No idea why I'm wondering this, International break boredom I guess. What is/was his job?
  4. Has VVD only just made his International debut then? For some reason, I thought, when we signed him, that he was a regular in the Dutch squad.
  5. Following comments he made about the referee after Saturday. Justice done. Let's hope he gets a fine and a touchline ban. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34449753?ns_mchannel=social&ns_campaign=bbc_match_of_the_day&ns_source=facebook&ns_linkname=sport
  6. Saturday, last season's win at OT and the 8-0 against Sunderland. I really enjoyed the League Cup win at Arsenal too. Interesting how Koeman's been in charge for all of them. I'm not saying we didn't have great results under Poch and Adkins but those four topped them all. I think if I had to pick one, I'd go with the 8-0. That was something very, very special. You only get a result like that for any team once every 3-4 years and it may never happen to us again. I can be pretty confident that unless the world ends in the next few years, we WILL go to the defending Champions and win again and we WILL win at Old Trafford again at some point.
  7. Which is the better feeling? Which was the bigger achievement. I'll say this one. Considering what a fortress Stamford Bridge has been during Mourinho's time there AND the fact it was by two goals AND the fact it could have been more AND the fact that we went 1-0 down. Winning at Old Trafford last season was great but I think this just about tops it.
  8. Serves you right for thinking (and therefore because of the accumulator hoping) that they'd win.
  9. Very reasonable price. I'll be there.
  10. Dundee. When I was 12-13 and first getting into football, I got a management game, picked a team at random, happened to get Dundee and stayed with them for ages and through that they became my second team. I always look out for their result every week and if they're playing on a different time to Saints, I'll do my best to watch them.
  11. What's wrong with the thread? I created it as tribute to a decent player who more than played his part in our rise up the leagues.
  12. It never works well? You know we're winning, right?
  13. Anyone just see the article Saints just put on Facebook? Just noticed, Gary Monk has really put on weight since he became a manager!
  14. They must be to walk that far
  15. Winnable game. We'll play a strong team, they'll probably play a weaker team. If they play like they did last night and we play like we did tonight, they'll be lucky to get away with losing 6-0!
  16. Pleased we've put a strong team out. Ref's from Southampton!
  17. We're weak at full back but I can see why Koeman didn't play Cedric. As good as he is going forward, he's not that great of a defender and that forward line of United's is dangerous.
  18. I don't think I've ever heard Koeman blame the referee. He's not Pardew.
  19. Who signed Hammil for us? Burley?
  20. Gutted for him. Always had a soft spot for Luke, out of all those that left us in the last 15 months (apart from maybe Rickie), Luke left with more dignity and respect than any of the others and he was only 18! Wishing him a speedy recovery.
  21. We've been on an amazing journey as a football club and on these landmark days it's nice to look back at where we were then and how far we've come. There's just no please in some people. No one's pinning you to a chair, forcing your eyes open and forcing you to pay attention to it all.
  22. Pretty sure we beat Everton 3-0 and drew with Chelsea while playing 3 CBs.
  23. I've never been opposed to the idea of Kevin Keegan becoming Saints manager. Former Saints player, still speaks highly of us, good record at every club he's been at. It's probably a bit too late for him now though. No one mentioned Yakin? As previously said, we have plenty of time to think about it.
  24. If he's sold, we'll go down. Massively important player and so little time to find a replacement. I'll be especially p1ssed off since we were told no one else would be sold.
  25. Throw in £10 Million on their part and we'll start talking.
