So hearing it's us or Stoke? Surely the Fonte factor helps?

His name makes me think of Home Alone 2.

Fixtures out tomorrow - who will we get first game?
SNSUN replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Decent fixture list. Might be able to make a few more games this year! Tricky run in though. If I thought we were relegation fodder I'd not look forward to a great escape! -
...or panic re-sign Glen Johnson on a free...
-
You lie, I have you know Osvaldo nutted Fonte because of something derogatory Jose put about him on SWF. (The above may not be true.)
-
We have a lot of comedians on SWF! :-D Welcome to club Juanmi. I know nothing of your talent but look forward to finding out. One thing sticks out though - at just £5 odd million this is a very low risk transfer in today's market. (A la Mayuka. :-) )

A good player who's had a decent season at West Ham. (And is arguably better now than Chambers.) After all we do need 2 right backs...
-
I reckon he'll sign for Newcastle. They've been making the most noise re:Austin and it seems a decent fit. Still that's a lot of money for Ashley to part with, but they need to make positive moves after the season they've just experienced. My biggest question is whether McClaren has some sort of clause in his contract that means he can't sign Derby players. I shouldn't think so, what with Derby sacking him, and that might mean the likes of Will Hughes could find a place in the Premier League sooner than he thinks.

Fixtures out tomorrow - who will we get first game?

Easy games at the start and end of the season please and tough games in the middle. That way we can make early headway in the league but whatever the situation we find ourselves in at the end we have a few easier games to fall back on. Norwich home first please. -
That'd be a decent, well priced start to the window. Though fans of other clubs will be all like "who?"

That laptop bag is a thief's wet dream. Happy Anniversary Ron, and for helping us believe that there is life after death. (Or something less dramatic and more suited to football.)

Roy Hodgson warns Clyne over attitude in response to Slovenia game
SNSUN replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
That Mirror article says Clyne got one minute of game time. Wasn't he subbed on around the 85th minute before the Rooney goal? -
The poor bastard would be ripped to shreds in this country with a name like Sven Bender! I mean seriously, the poor little blighter, having to live with the same name as Goran Eriksson! Football fans can be cruel.

I can't get a season ticket, so it suits me.

She'd be useful if you get bum hole itch. Freakishly long fingers do a similar job, but occasionally if the fingernail is too long, it can cause ruptures. Tongues are smoother, hence less pain can be caused. (The same can be applied to ear wax cleaning, athletes foot, and peehole itch.)
-
Surely Clyne wants more than just to go to Liverpool? Yeah yeah they're a bigger name than us in World football and have a couple of better players, but is that really a step up at the moment? United I could understand as they have Champions League. It can only be a money thing if he goes to Liverpool. I'd find it quite funny if Liverpool were the only team in for him and he signed a new contract with us instead.

I know nothing of Juanmi other than what it says on his Wikipedia page! One cap for Spain. That's good. He ranks alongside English luminaries with one cap such as Ricketts, Walters, Richardson, Jeffers and Nugent. Of course if he's better than those, which he probably is, he'll get more. Thats what I get from his Wikipedia page. :-)

Papering over the cracks again, nice one England. The best thing Hodgson ever did was keep Harry away from the England job, though now I wonder how differently it would've gone...
-
Hope he's as good as the last one we had.
