Jagielka's was important as it rescued a point in an important game, and initially I thought it was the better goal (than Pelle's), but after seeing Pelle's on telly (as oppose to seeing it live) I think his was the better strike. Better than Clyne's too IMO. I did rate Osvaldo's goal last season though, a touch of class that we saw all too little of from him.

I have you know I was captain of my high school 4th XI dontchaknow! (Which was made up of choirboys, people that had never played football before, overweight people, people that had no interest in football, a goalkeeper that had no gloves and an American annoyed that he couldn't use his hands. We lost 10-1 in our one and only match, although the coach of the opposition came up to me afterwards and said I was our best player. )

Liverpool will beat WBA IMO and I'm predicting a draw at best against Spurs but of course it's nice to dream. Being second is great but as long as we can remain in the top 6 for a while it'll be good for morale whilst giving us a decent platform to build on.

Next 3 games are Spurs, Sunderland and Stoke. 7-9 points would maintain our excellent start to the season, 5/6 would be good, 4 or fewer would be poor. As much as I hate saying it I'd take defeat at Spurs if it meant beating both Sunderland and Stoke but I hope we're good enough to get 7 points.

And we drew 0-0 with WBA not 1-1. Unless I'm reading it wrong...

I enjoyed that, my first game of the season, but it wasn't good for the old nerves. We should have capitalised on more of our chances and QPR were a whisker away from an equaliser. But like the Swansea win, these are the kind of games we'd have been drawing in the past. Mané looked good, but I hope there's more to come from him. I'm surprised so many people went for Pellé as MOTM though, as worldy aside I thought he was quiet in parts. Wanyama was heading for my MOTM until his substitution as he was winning everything in the first half but overall I thought Steven Davis was brilliant all game, and could quite possibly have scored a brace. Overall, happy with the win, six wins in six. Bring on Spurs.
