  1. Man he has a massive penis! Watch, I meant to say watch. Anyway welcome aboard Victor! Very happy with this, now get a move on with the next signing - we're three players away from perfection IMO.
  2. Our car park is a lot steeper than I remember it.
  3. It didn't take Molde this long to sign Forren! Tsk... :-)
  4. The front tyres are very far back. Good job MLT doesn't play for us anymore, if he stood on those steps, the back end of the coach would be in the air. Lovely though innit. I'd love to have a peek inside...
  5. Even great managers can sign dud players, like Fergie. Even crap managers can find good players, like Redknapp. Transfers are unpredictable, I'll agree.
  6. Isn't the Norwegian season currently ongoing? Sell him back, let him get professional match game time, buy him back August 31st when he's up to speed! Cracked it.
  7. I'm home from work. Let it happen...
  8. Wow that's a surprise. I thought that Forren was being trained up for next season! Clearly he hasn't settled. A shame, but it does explain why we've still be looking to sign another centre back despite signing Lovren. I bet Jos, Jose and Maya are happier at that news. I do hope we got our money back. It seems as Liverpool were interested we may have spunked our load too soon. Still can't get them all right. Chaplow was one we got right though. An inexpensive signing and he put in some good shifts for us. He scored against United too - that's a memory for him. Best of luck baldie.
  9. I'd say that with whomever is at the helm, we've always been pretty good bargain hunters. Clyne and Davis last season were snips really and both had solid seasons contributing to the team. Both would be worth more than we paid for them if we sold them - Clyne much more so. Dean Richards is perhaps that best profit we've made. A Bosman, a couple of years of excellent service and we milked Spurs for £8 million. Even with his acrimonious departure under the Hoddle cloud, that was an excellent sum of money.
  10. Great news if that's true. He's still young, he's good at what he does, he transformed the defensive side of the team when he came into it last season, and he's English, which is always a plus. I wonder if he'll still get plenty of game time though, some talented juggling needed in the squad rotation department by Pochettino I reckon. I can see Morgan being pushed up higher though - in the Davis role from the tail end of last season. He's good enough to fulfil that role, whether we'd miss his talents defensively makes it a gamble. Still it's a long season, plenty of time for all 3 DM's to get game time.
  11. The more the Celtic "fans" complain about Victor joining us, the more delicious the transfer becomes. It shows we have signed a player they really didn't want to lose, and believe he's good enough for the bigger clubs. Hartson complaining about him joining us is a positive thing IMO - that he things we'll be fighting relegation shows how little he's up to speed with the Premier League - but then that's his opinion. Didn't we nearly sign Hartson before he went to Arsenal? Luton was it?
  12. So he knows where to find the best free porn?
  13. Thank you. Your knowledge blows me away.
  14. Anyone know why he chose number 67? MLG?
  15. Claus was about half a million iirc. A decade of loyal service there.
  16. I always had a soft spot for Jim Magilton. Was never going to set the world alight but chipped in with some important goals from midfield, could pass a ball, and all for just over Half a million quid. How much was Danny Fox? £1.6 million or something? He's a tricky one to argue about, as we got a good season out of him at nPC level but is not cut out for life in the Premier League against some of the world's best players.
  17. I was a wee bonny bairn back in the early 80's. My favourite season was the League One promotion season, winning most of the time, going to Wembley, spending large sums of money in League One terms. But then I'm a bit odd - my second favourite season was the Souness season 96-97, and we hardly won at all.
  18. Reading the Celtic forum, he'd have played in one of their fixtures this week or next week had we not been close to signing him so I doubt there's anything seriously wrong with him that would see him failing the medical. I can't think of many. Brian Laudrup was class for Rangers in the 90's but sadly due to injury never got much of a look in at Chelsea. Wanyama has Champions League experience though so that should help. People complained we didn't have much Premier League experience in the squad when we got promoted - with Wanyama, we're all set for the Champions League 13/14. :-)
  19. He's got two more days yet, the naughty little bugger.
  20. Half an hour? Fricking lightweights.
  21. From BBC Sportsday Live: 1514: FOOTBALL The Football Kenya Federation has congratulated Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama on moving to Southampton from Celtic, even though a deal for the 22-year-old has not been confirmed by either club. BBC Sport understands that the transfer is poised to go ahead in the next 48 hours.
  22. After seeing that, I want him too! Signing Wanyama doesn't mean we wouldn't move on from Banega though - from what I gather Wanyama is a defensive midfielder and judging from that video and from what I've read, Banega would be better suited to the role that Davis ended up playing in at the tail end of last season.
  23. Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Cork. What a line up that is. Throw in Davis and JWP who can more than do jobs there if needed, and central midfield is looking sweet. Next to add to our attacking talents... (I'm of course jumping the gun before he signs, but am off to bed soon, and with no work to get up for tomorrow it's possible the deal could be completed before I even wake up!)
  24. Woo a sticky! Someone knows something.....
