I'm expecting a fair few of them in London the day before. Thank fook I'm not working that week...

MB, I know you've had a hard time of it in the last year, I'm hoping things start looking up for you and you can get work. I also hope you find something quickly because there's 85 pretty annoyed Pompey staff looking for work. I'm glad I don't have to worry about benefits, maybe I will some day, who knows, but I can empathise with those that legitimately aren't getting what they are entitled to. Chin up chap, there's plenty of naked ladies on t'internet to help you through your troubles...

Oh yes. :-( Don't eat Pork Pies past their sell by date.

Losing an hours sleep blows big time. God better make it up to me with a Saints win...

Talking of relegation-saviours, Mickey Evans was another. Always felt sorry for him, came in, did the job, then got sold back to where he came from. I remember some people saying he wasn't Premiership quality, but his cameo kept us going for an extra few years. Signing players like Mickey and Marian are what makes manager's reputations. (Clearly the opposite can be said about certain managers when you think of the Olivier Bernards of this world...) Fingers crossed that we can now sign a gem that makes the difference and gets us promoted. (Puncheon perhaps...)

Hilarious, but then I am "the most immature 29 year old that (my girlfriend's best friend) has ever met in her life". Not so funny when suffering from a bout of the squits, as I am at present.

I saw license to drive when the puberty hormones were kicking in, in the early-mid 90's, and twas when I developed my long standing crush on Heather Graham.

Nice one Pancake, I hope you have a babygro already sorted...

Without the reserve team, would we have given Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain his debut vs Huddersfield? I doubt it. Reserve matches keep up the fitness of the older warriors too. Lee Holmes was getting his fitness back in the reserve team, and it worked for him. Loans are a good move for players, but only with a recall clause. We've needed our full squad this season, especially with all the cup tied players, having Thomas, Perry, Holmes and Wotton willing to step in when necessary has been important - and we still have one more game to go where we'll need them, perhaps the biggest of our season...

A derby with Bournemouth next season would be a good little derby, perhaps the last chance for one for a while. I've enjoyed this season. We've put up with enough crud in the last few years to know when we're on to a good thing. 7 defeats in the league all season is a good return so far, if only we have suffered less draws and more wins. Finding that winning mentality in tight games is something we must do next year to get promoted. We must get promoted though. It's all very well toddling around in League One, but Mr Liebherr and his cash won't stick around for ever. It's all about promotion. Even the CCC would do for a couple of seasons, but one way or the other we must do it next season, or I can envisage, though I really hope it doesn't happen, the better elements of the squad sold off.

I think I read on here, that due to the JPT Final, and the tickets issues therein, that the ticket office would have struggled to deal with both at the same time. Once all the JPT tickets have been sent out, then perhaps will that news be announced.
-
I have booked three. I will be waiting until they turn up next week to see how many I really have (having clicked "refresh" repeatedly in the online sales), then if my mates don't want them, I'll stick them on here. It has to be face value though people. The more Saints we get in that ground, the better the atmosphere.
-
I was well off then! If available from the ticket office I reckon it wouldn't have taken this long... ;-)

I think most Saints fans already have their colours - I go to the games in my Saints shirt, hat and scarf, and never forget giving Matt Le Tiss a good rubbing/kiss, and that's what I'll be doing again at Wembley. I'm at the Hartlepool game the week before so I MAY pick up a foam finger from the Megastore...
-
Nope! When I rang up last week for the JPT area final ticket bit, the lady asked where I wanted to sit - and I said I didn't care as long as I get to be there! (Although she gave me a very favourable seat on the halfway line...:-D)
-
Can't be a Saint then. Any Saint would feel the pride in their community and want as many other Saints fans at the game as possible. Face Value is all it should be. P.S, I may have two tickets going spare, £100 each.

In spite of my laziness, I read the whole OP and I am pretty much where you are. Just because I'm enjoying this season doesn't mean I'm disappointed with how our league placing has turned out - however I do think we've got more wins in us than other results before the end of the season. I have pride in my club this season, the mickey taking from the pedants at work that I received last season and the one before has evaporated, replaced with pats on the back and "I had Saints in my accumulator the other day and I won £200. Thanks". I've personally spent more money on Saints this season in tickets, merchandise and travel than I've ever spent before, it's draining my finances! (Totally worth it though). I've even gone so far to put Saints's fixture list into my work diary, so I know which games I can/can't get to. I've never been this committed to Saints before (which I regret, there were many factors), and I'm loving it. I don't want to have a go at the negative posters per se, it's only themselves they are alienating, but I draw the line at anyone berating me for being positive about Saints. Yes, I'm positive, but that doesn't mean I'm not realistic. Play-offs this season were always going to be a tough goal, automatic promotion next season is actually more likely, considering the side we'll have, the rebuilding time, the gelling time and the lack of a points deduction. Next season, the only people to blame, WILL be the playing staff. Fingers crossed they give us very little to blame them for...
-
I said that on the other thread! Seemed like the OP had stumbled across a clever ruse to make us all ring in and give our card details for nothing! (While I did see that as a joke, I did partly buy my tickets online today as insurance... :-))
-
If people have been worried about the end of the world because of that thing, then that's a good move. Pumping billions of Euros into it, is not. Scientists really know how to waste money... We don't know the full story there. Maybe they don't want to let in more Saints fans, after all, we hardly come with the reputation as the nicest bunch of fans in the country, thanks to the small few that insist on causing grief. There are still other ways of getting tickets, I should expect to see quite a few for sale on this board in the next couple of weeks.
-
I can understand your confusion! (It's where I'm at.) Send an emergency email to the ticket office, and cross your fingers. Good Luck.
-
lolz, apart from their season ticket holders and 9 friends, it may very well be all Saints fans in that stadium. "Dellbley" (Has a better ring than St Marybley's)
-
Have you bought tickets online before? (Hence being on the database?) It may be that the block you chose is selling out. Click another block. :smt059
-
At this rate, my guess in the sweep for the time the tickets sell out at is: 09:42
-
I got two error messages then got straight through. Just keep trying. Don't forget, there were 4,000 tickets left this morning, I expect most of those are already gone (judging from what was available online when I chose), and tons more people are still after the tickets. Keep trying if you want to join in the action, buying from touts is illegal and expensive.

Judging from the tickets left on sale, there aren't a lot left. Work fast people, wish you the best of luck.
