Tony Lynham won't be making the call, it's his backer who will have to make his\her mind up. I hope they go through with this as I still think we've got a decent shot at playoffs if we can all pull together.

Message from Tony Lynam - Saturday 20th June 12:54pm

I don't think the FL have done anything wrong here, everyone knows that we are in administration and we should just take it on the chin. I'd like to see a bit of decency and honour here. Besides which, I can't see how we have a case as this isn't even a legal argument. The FL own this show and they set whatever rules they want. If they say 'no appeal' you just have to swallow it with a bit of dignity. Don't get me wrong, I want this -10 overturned as much as the next fan but I want it erased the right way, by winning our first 4 games and then going on to storm the league. -
Which one? League cup in 79 or ZDS final in 92 (I was there).

Wasn't going to get a ST this year but if KK comes then I'll have to reconsider.

Watford in the FAC SF at villa park. Great day out and fantastic atmosphere in the pub but the game was a bit of a haze.
-
I think we should be thankful that SFC even has a fixture list to comment on.
-
KK for manager? Yes please.
-
If we are serious about getting out of this league ASAP then we should be at least trying to keep players like Rasiak. Goal scorers are a precious commodity and he'll score for fun in this league.

I don't think that these 21 days are wasted time as I'd imagine they are using this period to assess staff\player\business issues. My hunch is that when the deadline comes up and they move forward (sounds likely) we will have a flurry of activity.

Watching Saints over the last 5 years has been enough to give you Tourettes........

Whatever MLT does from now he's already done more for this club than virtually anyone else. Like Lawrie Mac he's beyond slagging off for me although I think he'll be more effective than many are giving him credit for.

1) Take your time to get your manager, it's one of the biggest decisions you will make. When you get him give him a long period of time to prove himself. 2) Stay in the background. Job satisfaction should come from seeing the club do well rather than getting your face in the paper. 3) Of course balance the books but don't be afraid to take the odd calculated gamble. The odd exciting signing will put bums on seats.

If you are reading - well done Tony Lyneham and everyone else at Pinnacle. I heard you haven't been getting much sleep recently so time for a bit of well deserved rest. Today feels very, very good. -10 in Div 1? Who cares at the moment, we got our club back.
-
Great news! Our new chairman.................do you think HCDAJFU? (apparently he was quite good)

The longer this goes on the weaker Fry looks. He made some deadline demands, the Pinnacle backers then called his bluff and no-one else came forward. My guess is that he's being made to reverse rather sharpish.
-
No, you have misunderstood me completely. What I am saying is that if you set a deadline then you'd better be able to back it up else you are going to look stupid. Fry should be trying to keep these negociations as open as possible - as soon as he makes demands that he can't enforce he looks weak and he's not dealing with amateurs. They will be smelling blood IMO.
-
The longer this one goes on the weaker and shriller Mr Frys demands will become. The guy looks out of his depth against people who know how to negociate hard. He sets deadlines and then breaks them, that makes him look weak and desperate. If the guy really had another strong bidder then surely they would step in but the silence is deafening. £14M? I think he's will be forced to take a reality check.
-
No, the haggling is still on and I'm still hopeful. I think Fry's shifting deadlines are making him look weak.

What do you think of the official Saints Aid song?

An alternative tune for SFC...........? (and I like it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6xkT7FMyTc -
How about a parachute payment being made when a team gets promoted rather than relegated. This would give promoted teams a better chance to compete in their first season up and open up the leagues a bit more (esp the Coke to Prem jump).

Let's hope Mr Fry isn't feeding us a load of.........
