  1. Le Tiss just asked on Sky Sports about his problem getting tickets for his children......he was very diplomatic but obviously upset that a loyal servant and our greatest player of modern times had to wait over 3 weeks to get tickets and then only after the national press got involved. I support NC totally, i think we have made leaps and bounds with him at the helm, but this was a PR disaster!
  2. I'm sure some posters start these idiotic threads purely for a reaction. This and Trousers yawning thread deserve the golden Turkey award of the month.
  3. I am struggling to feel very positive at the moment. Brighton have been very consistent and you have to give full credit to them and their manager. At the moment i can not see us catching them aand to be honest i think we will do well to finish second. I think alot depends on the next 5 days...will we lose AOC this window, is Lallana out for long, is Punch staying, is Bernard about to be sent down....will we sign anyone to potentially replace any if not all of these!!
  4. speaking to someone who speaks to the player himself on a daily basis .....he states Oxo is going nowhere during this window and is very happy at Saints. I Have every reason to believe this is true.
  5. Have to agree with you Nick, can't see anything more sinister than as you have put it........not that it will stop others putting a completely different spin on it!!
  6. I'm beginning to think we might win this one!
  7. I have done some digging re Guly's partner and her potential visa problems. I have it on good authority that neither Guly or his partner should have any problems with the paperwork needed and it should all be pretty straight forward. Fully expect to hear Guly has signed permanent contract later this month.
  8. Think OXO would have a very close run for his money as the mean machine got going
  9. lol, made me laugh, would like to see him and OXO in a hundred yard sprint, would be interesting
  10. Brilliant news, feels like a new signing and has made my weekend. Thxs Jordan for the facebook alert.
  11. 2 for punch now!!
  12. I agree with your sentiments......i am appalled how football stars, tv personalities or those generally in the limelight DO GET TREATED differently when they appear before a judge. The average guy in the street would have gone down for this, it sends an appalling message!
  13. and many guilty people have escaped being sent down although totally guilty .....it works both ways!!!
  14. Probably the wrong attitude but hey the team cant be bothered and i work hard for my money...guess what i cant be bothered today either. Obviously hope they win but i won't hold my breath, i'm out enjoying the sun with my lad and i wont even think about Saints until about 5pm. Sad because i have remained patient and supportive of what was happening at Saints but my patience and more importantly my cash have run out!!
  15. seriously, did you see him play Tuesday night?? He is the worst player i have seen in a Saints shirt, how he lasted 70 minutes i can't fathom. So out of his depth it was unreal. So glad he's a lone and not been purchased.
  16. thank god Guly is not playing!
  17. I was at the game last night and i'm sorry but this guy was horrendous, he looked so out of his depth. He recieved the ball and immediately passed it backwards 9/10. For a big bloke he looks like he's made of China. And yes he did lose possesion loads, the first goal came about because he lost possesion on the wing and they subsequently scored. How the hell he lasted 70 odd minutes god only knows. Our 17 year old kid Chamberlain is miles better than this Guly....thank god he is only on loan and we can send him back. I'll give him the benifit of the doubt that he was played out of position, he hasnt had much time to settle and doesnt speak a word of English.....but that was a horrendous start!!
  18. Just back from the game and i am appalled by that horror show, absolutely clueless performance throughout. There is no excuses, they are well paid proffessionals who live a privallaged lifestyle for kicking a ball about and yet they could not be arsed. Please never play that Brazillean again he was horrendous and i'm not being unfair on him, he was totally out of his depth. He doesn't speak a word of English, i'm sorry but who was responsible for bringing him here??? I hope you have some sort of master plan Cortesse because the players didnt want to play for Wilkins and some of the more senior players were having a right go at him during the first half...something is seriously wrong. I havent got involved in the Pardew sacking debate and i'm sure there must be a bloody good reason for it but i just hope a new guy and a bloody good one at that is in place soon before we kiss this season goodbye!!!
  19. I just hope we can make tomorrow a celebration of Markus life by being 110% behind the team and management and shout madly for the whole 90 minutes plus WIFM
  20. To be honest mate i think you have said it all. The story of the watch was indeed a very sad one and it certainly meant that a great many of us maybe just got to appreciate what a kind man Markus was. If this story inspires peeps to get closer to their loved ones or repair broken bridges then his legacy will be greater than having saved our football club....alas for me i left it to late to say sorry to my father but it has made me dammed sure i wont make that mistake with those i hold close to me. R.I.P Markus
  21. can not be at the church today because of work but my thoughts go out to Markus and his family. You will never be forgotten for the impact you had in so little a time at our club, god bless Markus, rest in peace.
  22. source Hamster.....or just guess work??
  23. It's not too late at all mate, the book of condolences is open to sign there all week and the memorials everyone has been leaving will go untouched until at least after the Orient game.TBH the way we fans have all come together to show how much we appreciate everything Markus did for our club has restored my faith in my fellow Saints supporters.Saturday is going to be a deeply moving occasion and a chance for everyone to show just how much Markus meant to Saints fans for saving the club from oblivion.WIFM,
  24. Name the new training/youth centre after Liebherr? Thank-you ML.
  25. About to watch England game and all i can think about is watching Markus at Wembley in the JPT Final and seeing what it meant to him seeing his Saints triumph. I only hope that ALL Saints fans will now unite and get behind the club and stop this petty bickering that has gone on during pre-season. R.I.P Markus and thankyou from the bottom of my heart for saving my club from oblivion. UNITE TOGETHER SAINTS FANS AND SHOW THE WORLD WHAT IT IS TO BE SAINTS THROUGH AND THROUGH!!!
