Yes i was shocked and disgusted with the way NA was treated (or appeared to be treated!) The more and more i think about it the more i suspect NA knew he had been given the task to get us to the Premier league and that would the be the end of his bus ride....i keep thinking back to the final day of last season and how emmotional he was and some of the comments he made....i am now convinced more than ever he knew his journey was at an end, he had achieved what he had been brought here to do. I suspect NC had a short list of managers he wanted for this next step up and had to wait to get his man, hence NA getting a few months of Premier league football. I hope one day we will find out what was the agreement between NC and NA and was it really a surprise when NA got his marching orders! For today and now it appears our chairman has made a very shrewd move. If my 15 year old son can turn round to me and say "i've never seen Saints play like this" then i know something has definately improved and the future looks bright.

my implication is that there is only one winner here.....Sky tv who are getting a running soap opera!......no where did i say Matt was deliberately doing this for Skys benefit....but any fool can see Sky are the only winners here and Matt willingly or not is making a fool of himself.

I had the pleasure of growing up watching some of Saints greats and then watching the one player i will always remember as the most naturally gifted player i have ever seen. I also had the pleasure of playing several times against Matt. On every occassion he has been nothing short of a great down to earth man with no airs or graces........so it is with great sadness that i say i wish he would just stop his pointless and stupid bickering on Sky Sports....does he think he is harming NC?.....no one outside Southampton gives a toss and i bet the majority in Southampton give a toss either. All he doing is making himself look extremely stupid and harming the image people had about him. In years to come i want to remember the player i idolised, not a an ex pro making a fool of himself for the benefit of Sky!

Ok i think my son has the same sense of humour as his father because i found that very funny.....thinking about it, anything after the last 2 days emmotional rollercoaster thats light humoured was going to be funny!

This is a brilliant idea and i really hope he gets to see what the fans thought of him. Still totally shocked by what has happened and in 40 years of supporting Saints i have never been so ashamed of the club i love and support.

WOW, it really does go to show that 2 people can watch the same thing but read it so completely different......for my sixpence worth i thought RL was immense today, very unselfish, great holding up, great battling and his layoffs were perfectly weighted. Guly did everything right when he came on for a very tired JROD.

Starting to have a bad feeling about today if Ramirez and Shaw are out. Probably just nerves getting the better of me because this is such an important game for us.

Ummm, let me think about this for a nano second!.....Jason Puncheon springs to mind. We did what the club viewed was right for the club and refused to let the player just walk away or go for under what we valued him at. At the end of the day we now have a player that has started showing the promise we obviously saw when we bought him. Now i'm not for one moment saying RD is the same as JP, but it is for the club to decide what is in the clubs best interest and not us. We don't run the club thank god and to be fair 99.9% have not an inkling of what goes on at board level. I trust the club make sound decisions based on the interest of the club and thats all i care about.

He was on holiday with his father in NICE when the accident happened. How he did it i do not know but it was not on international duty being a silly bugger!

What a shocker, player grumbles about the nasty chairman doing whats in the best interest of the club. Funny how we still manage to sign all these very decent players and existing players want or have extended their contracts.....its really quite amazing when we have the devil incarnate as chairman!

I don't think Kelvin is screwd at all. I think it's very clever management by NA. He fully knows the bloke took the brunt of fans criticism when Sunderland were relegated and he is aware again his number 1 keeper is under intense pressure again from the fans for shipping 14 goals in 4 matches. Kelvin needed taking out of the firing line yesterday before his confidence was totally shattered and NA recognised this. Gazza is the future otherwise we would not have bought him.....but i do not think he is the immediate answer and yesterdays signing of Boruc i believe shows that. I still think KD has a future here but it will depend hugely on how he reacts to this set back.....NA might well have saved KD season by taking him out of the firing line yesterday.

The club have been very quiet on Lee. HE IS INJURED! He came through Southampton airport with his father (returning from NICE) just over a week ago with his right arm in plaster. How bad the arm/wrist injury is i have no idea but thats why he hasnt featured since the international break.

It is very funny how short some fans memories are! A few years ago we almost folded totally. We were saved and ever since things have flourished. We have a decent team that plays attractive football. I trust our management.

I'm no Puncheon fan and the way he treated Saints i thought he should have been booted out the club.......however he has been given a fresh start and i have to say IMHO i think he has grabbed that opportunity and has looked one of our better players....i would start him against Villa
