It is always nice to read articles highlighting the positives coming out of St Marys instead of the continual dross they normally print to sell newspapers. I think most Saints fans are aware we possibly have some very exciting future talent in the youth teams and that if these young players can avoid the bright lights of the so called big 4/6 clubs should they come knocking then the future looks very bright for Saints. The one thing i think we do very well at here is keeping very young players level headed. They can see that if they progress they will play in the first team regularly rather than be a bench warmer possibly at another club. This summer will be the most interesting for me because i feel it will define where Saints go from here. We will without doubt be attracting alot of interest from other clubs for some of our players....every player has his price....but i expect and hope Saints refuse all offers for any of our top players unless offered ridiculous ammounts of money that we could invest in more young gems.

The lad is young and still adjusting to the English Premier league. He has undoubted class and today he showed some of that.....too many expected him to be an instant hit and to adjust overnight....i'm sorry that rarely happens. I think we will see a much improved and consistent Gaston after a pre-season with Poch. Saints spent on the obvious potential and if we are patient i think we will be rewarded.

wow these Sky reporters are absolute clowns. It's cringeworthy the love-in they appear to have with Reading.....it's obvious Sky badly want Reading to win this. Saying that i thought that was a crap first half from us....and yet we so easily could have gone in 3-0 up...footballs weird!

Honestly i swear some of you just totally ignore the truth sometimes because it suits your agenda......our manager DOES SPEAK ENGLISH, he is perfectly able to talk to the players and to have a go at the ref if he feels he made a bad decision. He chooses to to use an interpretur for interviews because English is not his natural language and he is not confident enough to use it in interviews.....now i wonder why that is???.....forget about the press that would twist everything he says because he might use the wrong words accidentally.....can you imagine the idiots on hear that that would have a field day twisting everything.

Personally i would rather the players and the manager show some passion and stand up to be counted and the club have to pay some crap fine than just meekly accept the **** refs we constantly have to put up with!

I understand people being passionate abouttheir football and being totally ****ed off about real ****ty performances like yesterdays.....god knows i was so ****ed off yesterday and had to sit right next to the QPR fans gloating at how bad we were.......However i do not subscribe to this continual slating of the club, the chairman, the manager, the players etc. Saints have been playing some wonderful football lately and yes there have been some inadequate performances as well but that does not mean that from the chairman down it is all wrong at SFC. It is our first season back in the Premiership and for most of these players it is a real learning curve......support the side, get off their backs.....the support by a near on full house yesterday was disgraceful, i cant remember the last time i witnessed a home crowd so quiet.....when the team are struggling that is the time to raise the roof and drown out the away fans. Would love to know what the average age is on this forum because we appear to have a very spoilt membership here that think we automatically should be winning week in week out.

I'm not so confident we will get a positive result today. We havent played for 2 weeks and although thats good for giving players a chance to get over injuries the break disrupts a team that were buzzing after the City result. I wouldnt be surprised to see a flat performance today.......obviously i want the complete opposite and for us to play like world beaters again but i'm trying to be realistic.
