Hope he does really well. The games I saw him in he was no worse than the rest and always looked to give it his all. Unfortunately he plays in a position which means many will judge him solely on goals and so that makes it fairly easy to knock the lad. Who knows, if he'd come into a better team things might have been different, but when you look at the slack that Shane Long gets on his goal record, I'm not about to slate Guido. Might have read their third one wrong, got a pretty dodgy stream. Did seem a long way out and pretty much straight at him, but I'll give Fraser the benefit of the doubt.

He's going to be difficult to offload. Needs to be taken out of the firing line but can't even cope at this level of game.

I know it's only 45 minutes but Redders looks much better playing centrally. He used to do my head in last season on the wing, failing to take his man on, and on the rare occasion that he did get behind him, his crossing or final ball was shyte. I know he likes to cut in, but even then he rarely gets to a position between the posts before trying to shoot.
