  1. Grate (sic) result...! I'm probably in the Stevo camp, and not expecting PO's this year. That said - one or two of the top 6 might start to loose form, and if they do we have to be ready to take advantage. Well done to all the lads and AP - good to see a promising kid get a run out - stunning night all round really - next stop, Tranmere (3 - 4 anybody...?)
  2. ....k'nel - I can't keep up - cue the Condor music, I'm off to heaven.....!
  3. ...rarely seen at nottarf crap...! How often have you been told to finish your sentences properly...!
  4. Swweeeeet - I can feel a Condor moment coming on.......
  5. Obviously not, that would be Jew Cid in Lown - geeze you guys, get a grip eh...!!!
  6. Fool - everybody knows it is Jotel CaLifornia.... FFS
  7. It would appear that there are others that would also like to oust the Glaziers from OT as well: http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/Top-City-Financiers-In-Secret-Meeting-Over-Bid-For-Manchester-United-According-To-Sky-Sources/Article/201003115563949?lpos=UK_News_Carousel_Region_1&lid=ARTICLE_15563949_Top_City_Financiers_In_Secret_Meeting_Over_Bid_For_Manchester_United%2C_According_To_Sky_Sources If they don't raise the billion, perhaps they could think about our blue friends down in 'bargain basement'; surely one of them has a quid to spare...!
  8. I think we probably need to grate more...!
  9. Tomorrow will indeed be an interesting day. My only slight concern though is how robustly HMRC and indeed the Court persue the issues. Don't forget, Pompeys outstanding tax bill is now well publicised, and as a result the tax man has a duty of care to all other law abiding tax payers to persue Pompey. In effect the monies outstanding should be going towards services to benefit the nation - it is our money. Effectively Pompey have been paying 'cash in hand' - tis that simple - should a smaller business be proved guilty of the same offence then it would be likely that they would not only have to repay the outstanding tax arrears, but would also be subject to heavy fines as well. Therefore, on this occasion the tax man is our champion and would be unable to simply roll over and die, allowing administration of the company to be the easy way out. That said - it will be interesting to see how far they are prepared to go to either see justice done, or be placated by yet another company who have 'gotten into difficulties'.
  10. Gotta do much better than that - no clean sheet FFS.
  11. ...humble pie, anyone...???
  12. Being the ever optimistic happy clappy fan, it could have been worse, could have lost, kept a clean sheet - other than that; underwhelmed by the performance based purely by what I saw on here. As somebody else has said - would actually have been fairly happy with 4 points from the last two games - but having taken the lot at Norwich it feels a bit like a kick in the balls. Oh well - back to the Pompey takeover thread to cheer myself up again.
  13. My pants are already over my head covering my eyes - I cant bear to look.....! C'mon Saints, one goal will win this one....
  14. It would appear that we've not managed a ripple upto now - a tidal wave is a little optimistic methinks...!
  15. Ooooo 'eck - time for an edit methinks - fanks...!
  16. To be fair, I'd be slightly flattered if somebody saw fit to start a thread dedicated to me..! I don't think there is any real malice here - just a sort of 'told you so' attitude. Don't forget though - he who laughs last, laughs loudest. That said, how do you know who laughs last?
  17. Perhaps we should just rename him Corps ho ho ho ha ha ha ha from now on...!
  18. Errr just as an aside, but still relevant in the scheme of this thread, we actually need this saga to continue a while if we are to be up with a shot of this: Edited / Deleted - due to Tractor Saints comments - apologies, I didn't actually look to see what it contained Could be a long old summer....
  19. Ohhh - but Peter Storie said....
  20. Right - been out of the loop for 2 days, had to hightail it to Germany for work, and now working off a dodgy Hotel wireless link. As somebody once said '2 days is a long time in Portsmouth' (or something like that), and I don't have time to re-read the thread. I take it that they have been taken over, the new stadium and training ground have been given planning approval and that Kaka, Stevie G and Wayne Rooney are on their way to Fratton Park for medicals, no?
  21. Dare I suggest that we could fall foul of a late goal again - could be a riot later...!
  22. Ahhhh thats the one - very many thanks BTF - nothing like starting the weekend on a high is there eh...!
  23. There is an even more daming report in todays Telegraph - says debt is over 70 million. Dont know how to post link from phone but Im sure somebody can dig it out.
  24. Good stuff - enjoyed everything that you covered - looking forward to the next installment.
