  1. Yup, noticed that too...
  2. TBF, we've just played 3 of the top 4 and they've had a field day... it won't always be like this. I think it's more the fact that we had a good three months to strengthen at the back and haven't really done so.
  3. 4 weak links out of the back five... though Hooiveld might adjust in time.
  4. Our defence will send us down.
  5. Hahaha brilliant thanks for that. The quote is priceless; But Storrie scoffed: "It's absolute rubbish, I have never even heard of him. Are they having a laugh? Is it April 1 or something? We've never been after such a player. To suggest otherwise really is rubbish. "Why would anyone ever choose Southampton ahead of Portsmouth in the first place, no offence meant. I would certainly know if we had made an approach for him and that is definitely not the case. "It's all rather amusing, really."
  6. I remember some b1tchy comments from the skates when we signed him... Was it storrie who had a pop? Can anyone find what he said? Great read, thank you. Morgan's class and I'm so happy he's made it with us.
  7. Pompey side cheating? No wai... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/mobile/football/19589825 It really is part of life down there.
  8. Cheers for editing the title, I thought I'd buggered it up when I wrote it! I'm still up for this, if we can get a few more involved and set a date, I'll get it rolling...
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arik_Air#Incidents On 31 March 2010, a parked Boeing 737–700 boarding for a flight from Calabar to Abuja was evacuated immediately after an Audi car crashed into it from behind. The driver, who claimed to be Jesus Christ, was arrested and declared that he had made the desperate move to save the aircraft from an impending crash. [18]
  10. All the ooo's and ahhhs will be for Sterling when he runs up a blind alley. Livermore will do what Rodwell normally does. Pass to centre halves, run around, not making any impact (yet get lauded as a tidy footballer). Lallana will prove to be the creative spark England have missed and will come out of this better than the others. All the fanfare will be about Sterling initially, then the Prem tourists will start to realise how good Adam is and jump on the bandwagon. Massively pleased for him, though little worried he's surrounded by utter kn0bheads.
  11. "Cheer up Nigel Adkins" is now being aired vociferously... sad sad sad.
  12. Great club, great fans, don't deserve to where they be, everyone wishes them well...
  13. Now singing "Your grounds too big for you" and "Crawley's a sh1thole, I wanna go home" Hmmmm. Those in glass houses...
  14. "Stand up if you hate the scum" Portsmouth fans bouncing and cheering on TV, all look like utter kn0bheads. Commentators congratulating them on what magnificent fans they are and well they travel... *puke*
  15. I like Karl Robinson, but he's just said the biggest load of uninformed b0ll0cks I've ever heard.
  16. Here we go, the f()cking "poor ol' Portsmouth" bile begins...
  17. JWP, Lallana and although French, Schneiderlin are better than him... and will prove it over the next coming months. It's the sort of fanfare that is reserved for all our young midfielders these days, just take a look at the squad that went to Denmark and were utter tripe; Marc Albrighton (Aston Villa), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Jack Cork (Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Sunderland), Henri Lansbury (Arsenal), Fabrice Muamba (Bolton Wanderers), Jack Rodwell (Everton), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), Scott Sinclair (Swansea City). Out of that lot (with the exception of Cork), Scott Sinclair is the only player who actually makes an impact on games. Lansbury/Cleverley are OK, but the rest are just very, very average (or poor) "water carriers". Yet, for some reason, the English press bang on about them as if they're incisive, talented passers of the ball. They're not. They pass backwards. And sideways. Sometimes tackle. Run around alot. Pretty much modern day Prutton's that'll look good in a winning team but poor in a losing one. Luckily for them, they hide amongst teams that win often so therefore get hyped as of good footballers. Don't be fooled, they're not. The two best passers of the ball in this country (if you wanted to go Barca-style) are Carrick and Wilshere. Scholes is unfortunately 37 so that rules him out. JWP will be in that batch, but it's up to him how far he goes. Irrespective, he's far and away better already than any of the turdbaskets above.
  18. I'd love Rickie/Adam/Clyne to be capped but I really, really don't want them surrounded by the current crop of kn0bheads...
  19. Yeah, I'd be up for that. Could trim it to a the major leagues (Eng, Spa, Ita, Ger, Fra) and retain 125,000 maybe?
  20. Anyone here fancy a network game? Fancied setting one up for a while... My db has all the latest transfers/league structures etc, will retain prob about 200,000 players and have around 40 playable leagues...
  21. Maybe the appointment of a FoB could help smooth things over.
  22. Another 5k Championship defender.
  23. Another expansive and inventive England side selected... f()cking bullsh1t
