Mate, yes, it's possible - just compared the Hamble ASSC squads with real life and FM10 and there is only a couple of the players retained (but about 18 youth players) kinda understandable really. That said, its possible to manage them (go to the link above and grab the data file from that site)... you can also guarantee that eventually someone will bring out updates for all these leagues so the real players exist. :-)

I retained every club possible with my DDT files (290,000 players!), made every league playable, updated Saints with Connolly, Antonio etc, made plenty of transfer changes and used a competition editor to be able to manage right down to Sydenhams Wessex 1. The new editor system using files? GENIUS. I am Fareham Town with a full squad of real players :-o This is incredible. :-o Thank you SI, thank you. I love this.

Neither can I. I know its frustrating for some people but this FM is such a huuuuge undertaking by so many people, to deliver what they do is nothing short of a miracle in some cases. The only fack up which you can half-pin on SI/Sega is last years Steam/activation code fiasco. But this time it appears SI/Sega have learnt from it and delivered a top product and a patch that follows straight after installation. Top work, SI.

Ummmmmm two things.... Matt Le God, if you don't mind!?!? Just downloaded from GAME - installed it, went to load the game and I get to the screen saying it's unable to run the came as it can't locate the disc. Now, do I have to use a disk mounter for a digital download? And secondly, I cannot find where I put the XML file for the update Steve has mentioned??? Any ideas??? thank you!

According to this, Spring 2010 and will be shown at the same time it is released in North America. http://www.thecinemapost.com/2009/05/22/sky-tv-purchases-the-pacific-for-the-uk-in-spring-2010/ Only issue is that it will be aired on Sky Movies ... Grrrrr...... Incredible price for BoB, a tenner :-o

It's been a long time coming, but for those of you who were mesmerised by Band Of Brothers (quite possibly my favourite show of all time!), "The Pacific" is on it's way to our screens soon... http://www.hbo.com/events/pacific/video.html Looks impressive... Cannot help but by overwhelmingly humbled and gracious after watching these programmes. :-o

I think that was a 0-0 game, and Beasant got MoM, prompting Big Ron to lose his rag... lol -
Great decision. I can see the advertisements now: 'Play Rangers wanted -£26,000 pa'

Neil Heaney's career spectacularly nosedived after leaving Saints. At the time he was one of my favourite players :-( -

With a bit of luck, everyone will have their results annulled until Southampton catch up

I miss the S4E days. The truly good old days.

Absolutely crazy. Stabbed in both legs (probably defending his mum) and charged with assault.

Surman is one of those players (like Prutton) that compliments teams if the players around him are half decent, or slips to their levels if they're not. That said, he'd be ok with us because he'd be thrust into a winning team, right? ;-)

If I get the time later on, I will write my experiences

Apart from Ince, I think he is another of our shared 'preferred' managers!

My heart skipped a beat when I saw Adams and Oldknow together... How close did we go to blowing our own brains out with Adams?
-
Moritz Volz, Sam Baldock, Albert Adamoah and obviously Trotman and Antonio for however long we can keep them. Andy Bishop at Bury might be worth a look. Oh, and Arron Davies from Forest.
