  1. Yes please! One of my alltime favourite Prem players Anyway, I made a list of wingers and strikers on earlier threads who would definitely have improved upon the squad but now I've been the free transfers list on the PFA site, I've listed a few more players that I think CDAJFU. The players in italics are currently with a club, the others are listed as free agents... Er, no: Jermaine Wright Eugene Bopp Moses Ashikodi Vincent Pericard Hopeful Punts: George Abbey, RB James Sinclair, RB Ahmet Brkovic, AM Danny Granville, LB Richard Jackson, RB Rudolphe Douala, RW Fabio Ferreira, RW Mark Hudson, CM Diego Leon, AM Andy Welsh, LW, Yeovil Danny Spiller, CM Claus Jorgensen, AM Peter Holmes, LW John Akinde, ST, Bristol City Simon Dawkins, ST, Seb Carole, RW Ricardo Fernandes, AM Tony Stokes, AM Amaury Bischoff, AM Guillaume Beuzelin, CM, Albert Adomah, RW, Barnet Adam Le Fondre, ST, Rochdale Tom Craddock, ST, Luton Donovan Simmonds, ST Wayne Gray, ST Improvements and Realistic: Raidi Jadhi, CB Brian Wilson, RB Dennis Lawrence, CB Marciano Van Homoet, RB Jonathan Fortune, CB Matt Holland, CM Matt Lockwood, CB Julian Gray, LM David Noble, AM Yoann Folly, DM, Plymouth Arron Davies, RW, Nottm Forest Matt Phillips, RW, Wycombe Darren Currie, LW, Chesterfield David Martin, LW, Millwall Andy Bishop, ST, Bury Ambitious: Nathan Tyson, ST, Nottm Forest Carl Hoefkens, RB Moritz Volz, RB Sam Sodje, CB David Connolly, ST Max Gradel, Leicester, RW Gary Roberts, Huddersfield, RW Leon McKenzie, Coventry, ST Simeon Jackson, Gillingham, ST Jamal Campbell-Ryce, LW, Barnsley Danny Webber, ST Shut the **** up, Crab Lungs, toooooo unrealistic: Danny Mills, LB Ricardo Rocha, CB Ivan Campo, DM Noe Pamarot, CB Michael Ball, LB Andy Van Der Meyde, WG Henri Camara, ST Zheng Zhi, AM Dietmar Hamann, DM Andy Robinson, RW, Leeds Jermain Beckford, ST, Leeds Michael Mifsud, ST Gary Hooper, ST, S****horpe Antoine Sibierski, ST Darren Huckerby, ST, San Jose Earthquakes Recent Movers (but would have been on my shortlist): Simon Whaley, AM, Norwich Steve Kabba, ST, Brentford Cleveland Taylor, RW, Brentford Jason Puncheon, LW, MK Dons Jimmy Smith, RW, Leyton Orient Graeme Lee, CB, Notts County
  2. I thought Tevez and Adebayor played for the Skates? Corp said they'd signed? :-S
  3. I am, after all, a very willing and hospitable host.
  4. Yah, that'd be nice, please
  5. You'll have to forgive me about not being optimistic but SCC has failed to deliver on almost every single project in the last few years since West Quay. Draw it, present it to the Echo and then scrap it ... over and over and over again... Still at least we probably have the largest concentration of young professional's flats in the UK - that's definitely a flagship tourist attraction.
  6. Oh ****ing hell.... The SCC.... they're more than likely say 'nah, give it to Portsmouth!' and we'll host some obscure garden show instead. Not before they've spunked a few hundred thousand on some architects drawings and sent it off to The Echo as their latest 'vision of the future'
  7. Niiiiiiice.... I am big 'botfly' fan myself.
  8. Portsmouth and Southampton waaaaaaaay too close to London. It'll be Bristol I'd imagine. How many venues will be nominated anyway...? And what cities and stadiums do YOU think will be involved???
  9. Does anyone else simply just not like them? They're jumped up and minutes-silence-for everything fans, they're stupidity in blindly backing Benitez over everything, despite Benitez proving himself completely incapable of building a title winning squad? I have always disliked Benitez and his absolute idiocy in the Xabi Alonso affair was staggering. Never been a big Steven Gerrard fan either so whilst he was trying to offload Alonso last year I was pleading with him to sell 'Roy-of-the-rovers' Gerrard instead. Gerrard.... I bet I'd be in a minority if I asked whether anyone else think he is overrated? Hope I'm not the only one who regarded Xabi as the best and most crucial player in the Liverpool squad and enjoyed watching him play more than anyone else in that now-stagnant Liverpool side... and a part of me hopes they seriously **** up this season and get rid of Benitez for good. I understand they'll probably be a few Liverpool sympathisers on here so I'd be interested to hear your point of view as to what you think about Gerrard, Benitez and Alonso...
  10. That was incredible. And so was he.
  11. Feel a bit sorry for Dindane now, looks like he was totally misinformed by his "friend"
  12. Dindane is a talented player, but is completely hit 'n' miss. This sums everything up perfectly for me:
  13. I have it on good authority that both Messi and Riquelme have been in Portsmouth locked in talks for the past 3 years.
  14. I think we should write him off before he's even signed. After all, we're the experts.
  15. OK Ron, did I read that correctly... it was basically a premonition by Nevil Shute!?!? Just finished 'Patient Zero' - frickin' awesome. Polished it off in 3 days (or evenings, rather.) I won't go into details, I'll let you all have the fun with that. I'm liking my post-apocolyptic novels atm, too... 'The One' by Conrad Williams (I think) is the next on my list..
  16. Looooooooool, there is literally nothing to 'strip us' of.... lmao And we're the biggest spending club in L1, and currently we've outspent Portsmouth lol......... Jealousy.... tut tut
  17. LMFAO, ****ing hell, i thought we were a mess.... Portsmouth fans clearly have no idea, do they? They've just been taken over by the only arab without any money, they think Storrie has done a good job for them (note for all you fishies, he was part of the reason the club was criminally overstretched), signing just above average CCC players, trialing L2 players and now they can't sell out their ground - again. But if you keep sticking your head in the Southsea shingle, I'm sure it'll all work out ok...
  18. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Matterface :-(
  19. And I totally, wholeheartedly agree with you... and I'm a good judge of a player. Schneiderlin is not a CCC or L1 player, it's that simple. His development would be better suited at Arsenal or a top European club. He will play for the full French national side, without a doubt.
  20. We'll be more in the thoughts of the FA as opposed to Portsmouth - it's all a pipedream, they haven't even laid the first brick of their training ground yet, let alone renovating FP and building a new ground.
  21. LOL, they're all gutted Storries going, how misguided can you be? He's one of the main protagonists that got you into a **** financial situation. And I see high-level education is alive and well in Portsmouth, too: "Storie you are a grate man but if u leave the fotball club do soemthing to elp youn peaple from wurkin class backrands cos we need help. Wif yoer monay you orwt to do moar to elp us git jobes and bwring up ar kids, but fanks for winnin us the cup buy sinin good players when scammar fish face were in charge."
  22. He really is a squinty-eyed odious c u n t, isn't he? He's only angry because his snout is about to be removed from the trough.
  23. Have to agree, actually.
  24. I totally agree. I think they got 60,000 for Hereford at home last night, too. You can see why they are such a big for the likes of Moekena, Ashikodi and Bopp.
