  1. It seems the Italian transport system works better when they're on strike than the U.K one does on a normal day.
  2. I agree it isn't a big match, but it's a big occasion especially for the fans. Really looking forward to it and for others of age Italian football was in it's prime when I was young teenager. Great memories of Italia 90, Sunday afternoon Italian football in an era when live matches were still a novelty and the great Italian sides of the early late 80s and early 90s, AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Roma etc. remember watching Ipswich and villa both play in the San Siro and think how great it'd be for saints to play there but never thinking we would. We go to old Trafford, Anfield etc every year so this is a real on off, but it isn't a big game.
  3. So to sunmarize Daves post McQueen came on for his premier league debut and had a good game.
  4. So after all the hype about security and passport numbers needed all they did was scribble people's name on the tickets.
  5. Laughable wrong About what? There was march, there were many, many anti terror banners in a march that went for far, far longer with far more people involved than the short bit of "evidence" you were able to provide. Many people, myself included have criticised Muslims for not doing enough, now they've done it some people are saying that's wrong as well. So what "evidence" has proven me wrong pal?
  6. The responses are brilliant, only 5 banners apparently I stood there in the pub window and watched the whole things and can tell you that there were hundreds, if not thousands of anti terror banners, perhaps my initial 50% was over the top but it was certainly a hell of a lot more than the 1% someone who didn't see it but watched a 30 second clip is claiming As for the anti terror march, first off Muslims are slated for not doing enough to condemn ISIS then when they do that's wrong as well because it's stopped people getting across London for an hour.
  7. Maybe that wasn't the reason for the match but a good percentage, more than 50% I'd say, were carrying anti terrorism banners. Surely a good thing?
  8. One of the first things I did was check to see if it had been reported anywhere and can't find it at anywhere. As someone that has critisced Muslims in the past for not condemning their own anywhere near enough what i saw Today was eye opening and made me realise perhaps I was wrong as I would say 10,000 is a consecutive estimate. The march was about 20 people wide and went on for a good 20 Minutes. Lots of flags banners and chanting about British Muslims being anti terror. If this isn't news worthy given the current climate then something is seriously wrong with the Uk media.
  9. Huge anti terrorism march in London today. Just walked right by me in picadilly, went on for about 20 minutes and thousands of Muslims carrying flags and banners with "Islam is peace" "I'm a British Muslim I condemn terrorism" id guess at about 10,000 on the march. Good on them.
  10. ignore the haters St Mike, I liked them, they were funny, original and catchy. It'll really annoy of Palarse to hear us taking the p*ss out of their bird! This season represents a great opportunity to get some great songs going and some old classics! We can have bags full of banter with the opposition fans and players alike. Everton - We can bring back the "look like a wotsit" song for Koeman! Spuds - How funny would it be to chant "potato" over and over again at them in a Keith Lemon voice, they're so stupid they probably wouldn't get it! Leicester - AFter last season love in where we sang "you're gonna win the league" This year we can stick it to them with "you're gonna win f*ck all" Bournemouth - Obvious "You're just a sh*t strawberry, sh*t Strawberry, you're just a sh*t strawberry" Middlesbourgh - "you're in the middle of no where, you're in the middle of no where" Swansea - "just ugly ducklings, you're just ugly ducklings" Proper Banter opportunities
  11. I expect fitzhugh fella is about to spontaniously combust.
  12. Is Jack Wilshire injured again? Odd how he gets in the squad for the Euros when he only plays 3 games in a season yet now he's playing regularly for Bournemouth he can't get in.
  13. What a strange thing to do. Why doesn't he buy one season ticket and save the money he spends buying the other one he sells for next years season ticket?
  14. Was the Oldham game the one where there was a sit in after the match on the Milton? I remember it starting well with about 1,000 or so there, after about 2 minutes the stewards saying for everyone to get out and duly everyone obliged and cleared off, one of the worst protests I've ever seen
  15. I was trying to remember what game I was at when there was a really low crowd against a northern team in a night game and it was that Scarborough one, didn't we beat them 1-0 with MLT scoring the winner? I thought the crowd was about 6-7,000 though?

    Puel

So who's going first Puel or the diamond?
  17. How was it costly? We've won four of our last 5. But for a disgraceful series of referring errors we'd be unbeaten in 7 and just once in 9.
  18. This is the most exciting thing to happen to our club since the installation of bar code scanners! Genuinely chuffed as easy to do business with needs to be our motto as we move towards to 2020s.
  19. He likes dwarf midfielders?
  20. Cook yourself some latkes, stick a skull cap on and menorah in your window. Also just have a cup of red wine as anyone who drinks in excess is a dangerous person according to the Torah.
  21. I suppose it'll depend on the position what they look for wont it. For the positions requiring pace and power they'll look for athletic black kids and team them how to play football. For the positions requiring intelligence and skill they'll look for the white kids of can learn quickly.
  22. I don't think we were poor, west ham dropped 11 men behind the ball as soon as we had it and we weren't moving it quickly enough to create space. The first time we did that we scored and then the penny seemed to drop. First half I'd say we were efficient, in control of the game without really threatening too much, second half was a different story, apart from one spell of about 2 minutes we were totally dominant, cutting them open time and again and we really should have had more than 3. We really do look a good side with a decent squad. Redmond is starting to look the real deal and with a bit of work on his shooting and final ball he is going to be a quality addition for us. Romeu is a bit of an unsung star in the side, looks a really good defensive midfielder now and along with the two centre halves gives us a good base. Really looking forward to seeing how Boufal comes I to the side and how much more Redmond develops and with Charlie Austin I the side we carry a real goal threat now. We might not finisher higher than 6th this season but I think we're well placed for an existing season with some good attacking football and a run in the cups.
  23. This doesn't tie in with the media wise anti saints agenda, are you sure you didn't mishear?
  24. It's it boring day after day hearing about what Jose has said, what Pep thinks of it all and look at Jurgen wearing a Beatles t-shirt, what a guy! I see how the cup draw was hailed as Jose v Pepe round 2 FFS. The celebrity manager thing is certainly one of the most boring things about modern football.
  25. The Chapel Kop pal, without a doubt. Although some people prefer to sit elsewhere and watch in awe at the noise and passion that cascades down from the terraces.
