I'm not going to describe anything about it. It was made very clear that I shouldn't describe the shirt and I won't. Personally I'm not sure about it. I think more people will dislike it than like it. However, we've all been in that situation before and grown to like certain kits. I wasn't sure about the current home shirt when it was launched but quite like it now. The away kit is a massive improvement on the current one. Part of me thinks that people may prefer it to the home shirt.

So it looks like the club didn't take the green shirt that was on offer then.

As I posted earlier, Umbro presented a load of different shirt styles and colours. I'm not saying that this was chosen, just that it was one option that was being considered. My mate couldn't take a picture of the whole shirt, but he did manage to sneak a photo of the colour. He said the shirt was very plain. All one colour with a Red & Black trim. There's not much to see. And it definitely wasn't a Goalkeepers shirt!

Ah well. It was worth a try. I've just been reading that most local radio stations are not allowed to broadcast the games outside the local area on their internet feeds. It's never easy supporting a team from a long way away

Thanks for that. Got it sorted. I've got some software that streams stations over the web. I've just added Solent to my list of favourites. I'll now be able to enjoy the coverage of Saints remaining games.

Wasn't sure which forum to put this in so apologies if this is in the wrong place. I just wondered which local radio station had the best coverage of Saints games? With most digital stations available on the net these days it would allow me to listen in from Cheshire. Cheers.

I don't think Utd will go for Bale at £20m. They are far more likely to opt for Joe Cole on a free. Fergie has made no secret of the fact that he rates Cole very highly. Utd are in huge debt, so whilst they will have some money to spend in the summer, they won't be buying 2, 3 or 4 players at £20m a go. I think it's far more likely that they'll sell Berbatov. Spend the bulk of their money on a replacement like David Villa and then look to add to the squad without breaking the bank. Let's be honest, who wouldn't want Joe Cole on a free. He's a quality player.

As posted in another thread... I can see the FA cup being cancelled this year. It happened in 2008 due to lack of interest in the competition and may well happen again this year. 2008 was the first time the FA felt it neccessary to cancel the event since World War 2. I saw a picture of the trophy the other day and seeing the words 'CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST' engraved next to 2008 just didn't look right. It's a shame as I like the FA Cup, but when nobody is interested you can understand why the FA scrap it.

What?! Why is Barnard not playing? We'll end up with a repeat of the Brighton performance where we end up chasing the game and Barnard will have to come on and save the day. The lad should be starting every game. I do wonder what goes through Pardew's mind somethimes.
