I've seen the comments about AP being no WGS. If you look at their records in English football they ain't a million miles apart. Both managed losing sides in an FA Cup final. WGS may have had the highest league finish, but AP gained promotion with 2 teams. I'd say they are pretty evenly matched. We've done well to get him. He's certainly a better option than some of the names that were doing the rounds. You can't really include WGS time at Celtic as it's not exactly difficult to do well in a league where you manage one the two richest clubs in the division.

It's a nice thought, but have we really got the money to put such a management team in place? I know we've just been purchased and the new backers will inject some money, but they will also be keen to keep things sensible and I just can't see them stretching to 2 well known managers.

This is exactley the kind of appointment I am expecting. Sadly, I can't see WGS or Coppell coming, so it comes down to the likes of Curbishley, Pardew, Boothroyd or Wise. I don't see any reason why he couldn't do a good job for us. He has experience at this level and given time and support from the board I think he more than capable of getting us out of L1. I'm sure there are a few fans out there who would be happy if Dowie or Mickey Adams were appointed, simply because of their Saints links. However, Pardew is probably as good as, if not better than either of those two, so if he comes then we should try and be positive and get behind the guy. How many of us were dreading the arrival of WGS all those years ago? Look what he ended up doing! Now the majority of fans want him back.

Yellow again - Boring! The club is entering a new era and we opt for the same old thing. It's well documented that the Yellow kits don't sell particularly well for the reason that if people have got one yellow shirt, they make do with it and don't always buy another. I would have liked to have seen something completely different. Oh well.

Thanks for the warning, I'll steer clear. I only watched the first film a couple of months ago because a friend said it was amazing... I'll never trust their judgement of anything again. I thought it was sh1t. Megan Fox, or not. If you'r saying the second one is worse than the first then that's a good enough reason not to go. The last two films I've been to see have been dreadful (Away Days & Terminator salvation). You could have just spared me a hatrick of **** films. Thanks!

I would like to congratulate the BBC on their shocking coverage of Glastonbury. Once again we see 2 or 3 songs from an artist and then have to listen to Radio One DJ's talking utter sh*te. You can hear the band playing in the background yet someone has decided that the viewers would rather hear the opinions of a clueless **** who can't even get the name of the band right. Rant over... They said that the Swiss bid was the highest, and that Pinnacle couldn't get the money together. They went on to say the Pinnacle bid was pretty much dead and that the club would be sold within the next 2 weeks probably to the Swiss.

A report I read suggested that MJ was linked to the Swiss bid. WTF is going on?

I was at Wembley when Luton Town won the JP trophy. The fans used the oportunity to continue their protest against the FA. It was an amazing turn out and if every clubs fans showed their passion and dedication then I'm sure the Football league would sit up and start to take notice. Sadly, they seem to be very good at upsetting clubs one at a time. Absolute ******s!
