Good weekend to have off. Not doing much bike stuff myself. Due a bit of a break. Take care and heal well!

As far as future plans are concerned all we know at present is business as usual. The Staplewood Campus is generally regarded as one of the top 5 in the Premier League and has been the subject of considerable development and investment since Markus Liebherr took us over in 2009. Whether further development is necessary, desirable or in the plans for the new owners is debatable. Everything is contained there including the academy. The production line has slowed a little recently. This may be a legacy of time spent in the Football League in the last ten years.

Get a bike, take up cycling! Seriously though I hope things improve for you. Been there with my daughter and latterly with myself. Fell into a negativity trap and stayed there too long. I'm 60 in a few weeks, now professionally semi-retired, but coming out of the trap and beginning to realise how good things are.

So many of those goals, headers notwithstanding, have a touch of the MLTs about them. The same opening out of the body before shooting, the nonchalant drop of the shoulder, the clever feint/dummy and the striking through the ball from distance. They could almost be peas in a pod, and is testament to how good a player RL was.

Sometimes there is a disinterest and malaise about our play reminiscent of the relegated Villa team.

What I did was paraphrased a quote from a newspaper's comments page which pigeonholed those favouring remain thus. I object to this, and to ****as who are incapable of rational debate, treating anyone who disagrees as traitors or quislings. Just goes to prove how extreme views bring out the worst in people. Something a few Brexit Jihadists should take note of.

I would rather work to see the UK fail at Brexit than accept it! I see no reason why I should and get behind the process in order to make it a success, and I'd rather see the nation fail than even raise a finger to help our departure from the EU.

Happy in the knowledge that GM would consider me a traitor for not supporting the madness that is Brexit!

Take your point about the ridiculous name calling, but surely there was nothing in the vote that disallowed dissenting argument. To me that what democracy is all about. After all the referendum was borne out of opposition of the status quo.
