I have this site on my favourites. Some of the rumours[rumours being the operative word], on the site,you really could not make up if you tried. Some of the Saints rumours, are so outrageous,they are not worth putting on here,unless you want a laugh,to match some seriously funny jokes. I suppose the fact,I have the site on my favourites is a laugh in itself.

Perhaps Saints were not prepared to go the extra mile for a player carrying an injury. Or perhaps they did not like the story going public. Either way I am sure we will have an adequate right back in sooner ,rather than later[Not in the know],and cover for that position also. Personally I would not like to see Harding play there,as he is predominantly left footed,and just about uses his right foot to stand on.

Despite the fact,yesterday was attritional cricket,tomorrow could be a fantastic days cricket. This is provided that,the weather is ok,and we do not lose our last 4 wickets in one over at the start of play. From the way the previous 3 days have gone,one would assume a score of 275+ in about 5 hours would be quite a difficult ask. We certainly owe Essex,for our defeat[shameful last hour capitulation],at Chelmsford in our opening CCC fixture.

Cannot agree with you for once Ron. I stayed till tea-time,totally attritional cricket,especially with the short boundary on one side. The bowling was good ,especially DC,but after the Yorkshire debacle,this sort of game is not doing County Cricket any favours.[i am a fan of the County Championship as well]

I presume maybe the captains could not reach an agreement on the target,or Yorkshire were not prepared to lose their second championship game in a week,by setting a gettable target. Either way what a diabolical advert for championship cricket. A third scenario is that they have not forgiven Dimi for not declaring at Headingly either last year or the year before. Warwicks now 118 for 3, although nearly up with rate,have lost a couple of recent wickets,looking promising.

Best Saints right back I have seen in my 47 years supporting club, Ivan Golac was a superb footballer. Was a nice guy also,according to my old boss who lived a few doors away in North Millers Dale.

I hope we can get both back on permanent contracts.

Well pleased we have released the deadwood and older players who would have been on good wages. Should free up money to get in a few more top quality players for league 1.
