Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

This. If she'd joined a murderous gang in this country at age 15 she'd be arrested and tried as someone presumed to have the capacity to be accountable for her actions. It's odd how some people seem to think that the age for accountability should be higher in this particular case. -
No Ramsay, Jones or Vokins. Surprised by that - can only assume injury or close to the 1st team.

Alpine Saint 31.03.2018 "Its time to consign Tadic, Boufal and Redmond to the SFC history book. Sims definitiely needs to be convinced he has a role next season in the Championship, or we'll lose him. I would also play Yoshi before Stephens. Next summer, get what we can for our "superstars" and rebuild, from the back, just like Pardew did. I particularly dont want to see those three AMs in the 2018/2019 Saints kit." Now look at what he is saying. ****ing idiot.

"No amount of education" is education from police, read my post in the context of the post I was responding to. Education by police will revolve around highlighting the bloody obvious, ie cutting people harms them, and you if your caught, etc. Tell me how that will erode the current culture. What's needed is to give the youth something positive to do with their time and a channel for their frustration. Telling them that cutting other kids is bad won't solve a thing. Social media needs clamping down on for sure - if the stuff that gets filmed doesn't get a social media platform it loses its power. No idea why raise Somalian immigrants. This is not an African immigrant issue, is it?
-
There is more than just catching kids in the act, but do you really believe that greater police numbers can help make a difference to what we're seeing on the streets? Turkish highlights one particular case where a culture that has become part of youth culture could have ended tragically. No amount of education and befriending will address that culture imo. Hypo and Turkish mentioned above something about kids no longer scrapping and moving on as previous generations did. I think it was Troy Deeney who spoke about kids fearing losing, it being filmed, posted on social media and getting a roasting. Thus they don't scrap. They feel the need to show they're a tough guy by cutting someone. This is a social change which for me will not be addressed by police numbers. Sure, some incidents may be avoided by greater police presence, but the cases this year alone, both the frequency and nature of them, show that we've got a huge problem that policing will not address.
-
Unless there were police officers in the actual areas where those tragic events happened with the 2 X 17 year olds, how would more police have prevented those incidents? How would more police reverse a hideous culture of kids doing these things for kicks and/or the badge of honour that they see them as? Please don't turn my comment into a political and/or race thing, my expressed opinion purely relates to police and an underbelly culture.

More police are not going to stop kids stabbing other kids. This an issue that runs much deeper than that.

But what does it matter? He's gone and Valery is far from a weak link. Stephens is adequate RB cover, and JWP right wing back. The ongoing post mortem ain't gonna bring him back.

I have spelled it out - the inference from your comments were clear. Why not just be honest and say what it's clear that you meant, IE that you hope that an ISIS survivor either kills her or harms her, rather than your pathetic attempt to back pedal? -

No need pal, others have cottoned onto the fact that you're squirming. I'm quite happy to watch you keep digging. -
It's worth remembering that many young full backs are converted attackers/wingers who have a natural (and coached) attacking instinct, and then learn the art of defending. Valery is an out and out defender who played a bit at CB and mostly RB as a youth. He then played RB as an under 23, and always in a back 4. He's been pushed into Premier league football at a young age and not only had to adapt to the pace and skill of the league, he's had to learn a new position which involves attacking which is a whole new skill. The fact that he's held his own is bloody impressive and people should judge him on how he's developed in such a short period of time, and remember that he's not a seasoned wing back.

You're squirming mate, and rightly so. Your words, not mine, are that "hopefully" she suffers retribution at the hands of an Isis victim. I'm confident that there's only one honest interpretation of that. You can keep digging if you want but in your shoes I'd leave it. As to my position, I've said only that a) the home office decision is unlawful which it is, and b) that she should be allowed to return and be dealt with (ie punished lawfully as opposed to being killed by someone seeking revenge). I'm not sure how that makes me an Isis sympathiser. -

The young woman (who went there as a kid) you idiot, ie the one that normal people want punished, but you want killed. -

Errr, read your own words pal. Just in case you can't, I'll help. You said: "hopefully...someone will sort the problem for us..." Which you clarified to mean: "Maybe a Syrian Isis victim will fancy dishing up their own justice". Unless you mean that "hopefully" an "Isis victim" version of justice means giving her a nice foot massage or something, you're clearly hoping (your wish, not mine) that the "justice" dished out is of the unpleasant kind. Disgraceful. -
This. The kid has done well, bar Cardiff, and is improving. We've wasted a fortune on poor players over recent times and I'd rather nurture our own than waste more money on players who may be no better.

So wishing the kid dead. Classy. -

What does "hopefully...someone will sort the problem for us..."mean? -

Yep, agree with all of that. He's pandering to the masses. On Judicial Review that decision will inevitably be overturned. -

I suspect that they just want them gone, ans as she wants to go, they're content. -

No idea but the legal system, or lack of, in another country is not the issue. She's a woman who, until the home office revoked it, was a UK citizen. She has no other citizenship. No other country is obliged to give that to her. Thus revoking her citizenship has left her stateless. That's unlawful. She's a woman who should be allowed to return to the only country where she has had (and still should have) citizenship. Upon her return she should be dealt with in our legal system as a British citizen. -

It's not, but she is our responsibility. -

Yep, we can't just dump our rubbish onto other countries. The home office decision is plainly unlawful in that the decision was made on the understanding that she would not be rendered stateless. She has been. If the decision is judicially reviewed its hard to see how it wouldn be reversed. -
Quite. You're not commenting on the game. You're trolling. Again.

Spot on. People ***** about Austin and Long but whine when neither are in the team. I'm not sure who people expect us to play other than Redmond up top. Personally I'd have had Yoshida and / or Bertrand in the back 3 but otherwise the team picks itself.
