Don’t think Wenger would work at all. He was effectively failing at Arsenal given their resources. Look at the virtually immediate upturn after he went. Why would he be a success at a smaller club with far less money? As for Reed, glad he’s gone but can’t see a rapid improvement happening, the malaise is far too ingrained for the sacking of one man to be the answer. As others have said his successful years shouldn’t be dismissed but this season is all about surviving in spite of the damage he inflicted in the last 2. Also he’s an utter ***t for being regularly interviewed and taking or at least implying he should take credit for things going well when they were, then completely disappearing from view when they weren’t.

Agree 100%. Something needs to change. I doubt it will but the most obvious/likely is the big six ****ing off to some european/international league. Sooner it happens the better, if we were competing against the remainder for the chance to get into a playoff for promotion into said european/international league (and then get inevitably relegated from it in one or two seasons due to the quality being far too high to cope with) it would all be far more fair and level and I'm certain life as a Saints supporter would be far more interesting than it is now. I'm ****ing bored quite frankly.

I would add that the lack of post match reaction threads in favour of reactions just being tacked on to the match thread is indicative of the overwhelming sense of apathy enveloping everything about our club and team atm. I'm ok with no man of the match poll today though.
