I thought all the players mentioned were outstanding today. As you say, a tough decision. Puncheon was a revelation today, glad we didn't sell him.

Adkins has earned the right to a fair crack of the whip. I am not advocating sacking him, despite the mistakes he has made. As you say, we've played top sides. For the most part we've done very well. Adkins needs to get a bit more streetwise. I think he's trying to be too clever. But like the rest of the squad, it's a big jump for him as well. I will say though, that it's about 50/50 with my mates over whether he should go. Zero points after 4 games and a lot of people will be asking questions.

You seem very sure that Cortese is signing players without Adkins authority. Did he sign Jos, Davis, Rodriguez, Fox and Lee as well then? My view is that the chairman has spectacularly backed the manager this transfer window, not undermined him.

I'd imagine Forest are honouring his contact for the season and he's further up North, so don't feel too sorry for him. Without his goals last season, we might never have gone up. Good luck Billy, Forest are now my Championship team.

Happy with squad. Wonder if Moshida could play left-back? Apparently quick and comfortable with both feet. No doubt he is primarily a centre-back, might may offer us cover on the left in the event of a crisis. Fox isn't a bad player though, and I reckon he'll improve once he gets used to the Premier.
