So lets all sit back and say **** it, shall we. Who governs us then? The only way to change things is revolution or vote. As Brand can't be bothered to even get up the polling booth to try and make a small contribution, I can't see him storming Parliament somehow. The growing disparities of wealth, does that include Brand who gets paid a fortune as a one trick pony, or is it just bankers and energy bosses that earn obscene amounts?

What people who spout this rubbish mean is that because the majority of the British voters dont share their views, somehow this equates to a discredited system. The only way to change a voting system is to vote for a party that shares your opinions on our voting system. How else are you going to change it? One thing for sure , not voting is the least effective way of achieving change. Clowns like Brand dont seem to understand that its everybodies democracy, not just his and likeminded thinkers. local people vote for a local mp that then represents them at Westminster, it may not be perfect, but its not ****ed. What do you suggest, you and Brand sit down and pick a government for us. Why on earth do the BBC insist on putting this clown up as some sort of political thinker. Had that been Utd, they would have shown Adams shot at the end during the main highlights. Joke coverage. Saw a Utd season ticket holder on the train and he said he was impressed with our support. Train was full of London Utd supporters all with their mega store bags and cameras.

If we win I don't really care if I miss the train. My Manc mate reckons the overground by the away end is best and there's 2 trains that'll get me there on time. Weighing up whether to risk the queue as I might not get on the first two, or pegging it back on foot. If Lambert ends this season like he's ended the last two, I really can't see it. He's looked whacked come April time, maybe Osvaldo will take some of the workload and this will help. I actually go on holiday to spend time with my family, and that includes the kids. Some of my favourite memories are of the 6 of us eating out abroad together.

Spot on. Somebody has decided to put this together to make money. Fair play to them, I think it's quite a good idea and maybe could spread to other players of other teams. They also have this Soccer Saturday tour and I see The Game podcast is going on the road as well, so there's obviously a market for this sort of stuff. But I fail to see why the club would be expected to put someone up. None of them would have played with Matt, and none to my knowledge were Saints supporters.

You've summed up there exactly what Fox is up against. Whatever he does he cant win. A "generic lofted into the box ball". What, did it just happen to land in perfectly between the back 4 and the keeper and, just happened to find the head of our best header of the ball. It's about hitting an area, and he hit it perfectly and with the right pace. If you think he's shiete, fine, but don't try and rewrite history. That was a good delivery, certainly better than anything Rameriez has delivered from set pieces since he's been here.

I'm 49, so I'm well aware of their contribution to the club, but I dont think that automatically mean the club should support a commercial enterprise like this.

Xavi wasn't appearing as a representative of Barca but as a fan, surely you can see that Adam and Rickie would be doing so as representatives of SFC. Whther you like it or not the CEO of any company is perfectly entittled to block any use of his company for commercial gain. How is this much different from the after dinner circuit? Would you expect the club to hire out its employees free of charge to an explayer making money from that. Just randomly having a "tribute to night" looks suspiously like a money making oppurtunity to me. Fair play to the people who make the money and fair play to the people who want to go, who knows it maybe so sucsessful they'll have another one next year, but why should the club be slagged off for not wanting their players involved?

If the city had honoured him, if it was for charity, if he was ill or passed away then you would have a point. Nobody has suggested it was anything other than a commercial event. Rickie and Adam would be contributing , not as supporters as I dont believe that either ever have been, but as representatives of the club. Maybe the club dont want they're emplyees being used to help the promoters profit. Matt's my joint favourite player and lawrie my favourite manager, but when will this matt & lawrie roadshow end, and why should the club put someone up when its a commercial venture?
