Post Match Reaction: Newcastle United 1-1 SAINTS
iansums replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Is it just me or is JRod getting better and better with each game? The thing with young players is that if you give them a chance they will improve. People criticising JWP, he's 18 FFS, he will improve. Chambers played well today, another little gem we've produced. -
Mental , absolutely mental.

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 Manchester City
iansums replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Have you seen the goal yet Alps? It's not bad for a South American parasite! Great to see Chambers play so well today and how good it is to see Shaw running at people and getting crosses in, he needs to do it more. -
Where does he live? I was under the impression that he lived down the road from me on Highcliffe cliff top but read somewhere that it was Ringwood.

The problem mate is not what you say but the way you say it.

But the squealers are the ones who go into meltdown when we lose a game. Sorry but it happens. I saw some stat somewhere about Villa only losing four away games in a long, long time but only to the top teams, they have an excellent away record. Last night you could see why. Yes of course we should be winning games with 77% possession but its been like this all season, the difference in the last few games is that we have begun leaking goals.
-
Yes, just like calling some of your own players parasites.
-
We're not playing well IMO, not retaining possession well enough.
-
Really? I did not see it.

People who wear gloves, wooly hats, ear muffs
iansums replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Lounge
What I do find strange is the number of people you see wearing shorts in the middle of the Winter. Quite often I go to SMS with a hat, gloves and 4 or 5 layers and see some bloke walking around in shorts. -
Nice when our back 7 picks itself.

Bit of an over-reaction, are you Alpine in disguise?

Disappointed but not disheartened. Losing 2-0 away to the league leaders is no disgrace and we matched them for much of the game. They had that extra bit of quality up front in Giroud whereas SRL had a poor game for us. Lost a lot of threat when Lallana went off, let's hope that him, Shaw and Lovren are back next week.

Jrod having a good game.

JWP?

The game last night showed what big problems we have in defence. If either of Cahill or Jagielka get injured then feck knows where we will be. Jones is a good player but he isn't playing regularly for ManU, even when he does play it is often in midfield. This is the crux of the problem for England, you have a good young player like Jones who needs to be playing week in week out. If he was a Saints player then he would be playing, and he would be a far better defender than he showed last night. People go on about our academy and how we produce good players and of course that is true. But the real difference between us and (some of) the rest is that we are prepared to play the youngsters. Look at JWP, he is getting better and better with each game. Part of the problem last night was that we had no genuine holding midfielder and so offered little protection to the back four. Morgan would walk into the England team.

But what is it that we do differently? I would suggest its that (if they are good enough) we are prepared to actually play our youngsters in the first team.

Tories try to delete pre-election pledges from the Internet
iansums replied to pap's topic in The Lounge
Of course they couldn't keep all their pre-election pledges as they had to compromise on some of them to form a coalition government with the Lib-Dems. Were you not here in 2010? -
Like the way the Lino sneaks a quick peak in the Saints changing room in the hope of seeing a bit of c*ck.
-
Saturday December 7th, about 5pm just after the Man City game. Is that good enough for you?

Watch Boruc telling Vic where to play the ball, should've done what he was told.

What's really tiresome is ****s like you calling your own players ****

Just changed ours a couple of months ago. the old boiler was nearly 13 years old and had been giving us lots of problems over the past couple of years. We used a local (Christchurch) company recommended to me by my brother. They are approved installers for both Worcester Bosch and Vaillant, they recommended a Worcester Bosch. They did a very neat job, cost me £1800 but includes a 7 year warranty which gives some peace of mind. Will be interesting to see in a year what the savings are going to a new efficient boiler.
